fuck the courts. they protect cops who arrest 5 yr olds having tantrums, and back cartwheel suspensions. whats next? outlawing swingsets and slides? they've already outlawed teeter-totters,monkey bars and merry-go-rounds in many parks and replaced them with pull up bars and signs that say how to do pushups/pullups and squats and sit-ups for kids. WTF??!! When was the last time you remember seeing a kid doing squats and saying "yeah, this is so much fun, I couldn't wait for recess!"
I personally like California a lot but the NYC suburbs has better schools. I am glad this garbage never happened to me. I find it cute that this girl can do cartwheels! Seriously, the gymnastics teacher should have a talk with the school and complain. My worst experience with middle school was nothing worse than getting yelled at by my middle school math teacher, Mrs. Erler and once I went on to high school I was happy at Northern Highlands High School.

She left the school a year later to be home schooled or at least thats the rumour, noone ever heard from her, not even me, and she would call me one of her best friends. @DinnerTimeMishap The issue is that if a kid gets hurt on school property, the parents sue the school for "negligence" for not having banned the activity. Which sucks money out of the system that should be used to teach the kids. If they don't ban non-supervised activities that could cause harm, they're opening themselves up to the school not having the resources to educate the other kids. It sucks, but it's the reality. Too many parents would leap at the chance to sue for big bucks.

@DinnerTimeMishap The issue is that if a kid gets hurt on school property, the parents sue the school for "negligence" for not having banned the activity. Which sucks money out of the system that should be used to teach the kids. If they don't ban non-supervised activities that could cause harm, they're opening themselves up to the school not having the resources to educate the other kids. It sucks, but it's the reality. Too many parents would leap at the chance to sue for big bucks.

I played this game during recess called "suicide", the point was to run to a wall and touch it before someone hits you with a tennis ball if you failed to catch it as it bounces off the wall. I went to that skool. I was in the same grade as her. Trust me they gave her all kinds of warnings. She was just too stupid to listen to any of them. She got one week of suspension which soundz fair to me because our skool had a 0 tolerance policy
