For example, 100 animals isn't really enough to sustain a gene pool, global warming is real and the ocean levels have risen 1 inch in the time it took us to figure this out. I am referring you back to the researchers who say that the US needs between 2500 to 3000 wolves for a healthy population due to new research in Canada saying that wolves that are hunted have less genetic diversity than those who weren't.

Yellowstone has managed to find a solution without arming themselves with guns. Short answer is they import packs with non-livestock carniverous bahavior to occupy the boundries of the ranchers land. These packs keep the other undesirables off the property. Not surprised that an "Idahoan" would never have thought of that.

I live in south east Idaho and these wolves are destroying our Elk Deer and ranches. There not a native to this area and they kill for sport. There competeing with the natural order here and were all in danger. I say move them back to Canada or shoot them on the site. Many times have they created dangeruose issues for us Idahoans and we need to stop them ravaging beast. The wolve can live on one elk kill for two weeks yet he kills Elk a week not to mention Deer. We need to protect Idaho .
