@lohksesom6669 Depending on what type of file system you format with, your MicroSD card will display different data amounts. A simplified explanation is that this simply because different kinds of filesystems use different amounts of data to store their file system information, therefore there are slightly different amounts of space available for actual data to be stored on it. You never lost space on your MicroSD card. Formatting it back to its original file system will gain the data back.

@blackshotthewerehog I have the same problem. It just recently did it when I was using pokesav to save a .sav file. The program froze and when I reset my computer, the sd car became inaccessible. Now it tells me to format the drive and when I try to do that, it says it can't format. Such bullshit!

If your card says it's write protected then there's usually a slider on your card to enable/disable it. If not, right click on the card in "My Computer" and choose to eject it. Pull out and reinsert the card into the computer and see if you can write to it. Repeat that until you can. (It might take awhile)

@DD2021 i found the answer to this question... the new cards are called Micro SD HC (hc stands for high capacity) and some older computers can't read those, u either need an adapter (cheap 10€ is more than enough) or an new unite for ur computer...

@azcrum are you sure you have the right adapter? I saw some that look like USB keys, or the ones u can install into the computers box. If u only use the adapter from micro/mini to normal sized SD it wont work...

@Rully133 You could try going into device manager on Windows while the MicroSD card is hooked up and looking for the Micro SD card listing. It will likely have some sort of error. You can try updating the drivers, and if that doesn't work, try uninstalling the drivers then re-inserting the MicroSD card.
