It may sound a bit watered down, but this is where they are going creatively apparently. It still has the complexity of a Mudvayne song, just a different sound. I'm just glad they aren't like Tool who puts out album after album with no change in sound. I can hardly tell one Tool song from the next because they are stuck on the same exact tone. Hell, I liked L.D. 50 and everything that has followed.

Change is always necessary for a band to expand and grow. Having said that Mudvayne has, IMO, progressed very well. I've enjoyed listening to Mudvayne grow and mature from L.D.50 till now.

personally l.d.50 is one of my favorite albums but this is also very good. for all you people who say it sux cause they arent as "metal" as they were, grow up. bands change. look at queen. how any styles did they have? this is mudvayne as they grow and mature. if it was the same stuff on all the albums you would complain there was no variety. honestly i think they just keep getting better.
