But if I cook my turkey in the NuWave and my biscuits in my oven...I know, according to the NuWave people, my biscuits won't turn out as good as they would in the NuWave.

I got one of these over a year ago. Well let me tell ya that it does not cook evenly like they say it does. Say your making chicken legs or wings, the pieces directly under the lamp will brown, while the pieces on the outside will not brown as much. Also I have noticed that lean meats do not brown at all and instead become dry and tough, while only greasy chicken and pork chops or whatever greasy food have you will brown.

(continued) Also once, I tried roasting a whole duck in my wave oven and the thing came out all rubbery, the joints and cartilage were like fucking rubber cement, it came out nothing like roasting a whole chicken or duck in a conventional oven. Buyer beware, you really have no control with regard to the degree of browning your food like you would in a conventional oven. You pretty much set it an forget it hoping it browns your food. Like I said, it will brown some foods, "greasy foods" only!

Conduction, for those unaware, is just the concept that heat works it's way through a food. Your: oven, toaster, microwave, slow cooker, and cook top all use conduction. As someone w/ a food science & technology degree, I laughed as soon as I saw that. Thought I'd share.

I've had my nu wave for a couple months and its great. Everything tastes so much better versus a regular oven. The best part about it is when you need to make or reheat a small amount of food. I always hated having to preheat an oven just to cook a couple of chicken nuggets!

hi i have bought this new oven called the flavor wave its the same thing but man that thing realy cooks if tryed so many resapec . it take the same time to preper a stack and that is 30 min but its still test good

I have both and am returning the flavor wave. Neu Wave coods w/out flipping as much, cooks faster and the dome does not fall off of the cooker like the dangerous flavor wave does.

Oh yeah...when I mentioned that the plastic became brittle, it did and it cracked and broke, hence the reason why I had to order a new dome.

Just handwash the dome. I repeat, do not put it in the dishwasher!

Please do not put the dome in the dishwasher. The heat and water will give the pastic a frosted look and it will make the plastic brittle.

I ordered a new dome and it didnt fit the nuwave oven I have. When I use the oven, I have to make sure the dome doesnt fall off when I lift it.

I still love the oven though
