There is something wrong with this ad. Microsoft Office was created by- yes, u guessed it, Microsoft. So the fact that Mac has Office and PC doesn't just doesn't make sense.

I found Iwork '08 so frustrating i went for Office instead and I gotta say, I'm loving it, it works beautifully. If '09 sorts out the problems like the lack of a decent MailMerge thing etc, I might switch back.
Office for Mac is stripped down, sorry to say. Apart from which, it was MS I was trying to escape by switching to Mac... why would I now install Office? LOL
I use Mac OS for most of my stuff for obvious reasons, and I do my word processing etc. in Sun OpenOffice under Suse Linux on the same machine. It's like having a sports car and station wagon in one garage - it's a matter of the right tool for the job. :)
