  • would love to get the dvd or recording, sings to my heart! Thank you for posting!

  • Very good quality audio; thanks for posting!

  • those guys felt goose bumps like i feel now i know the groove and i know when it happens and this is it

  • This is great!

  • Strange but true. I like Old Ian's voice as much as Young Ian's.

Perhaps because I too am an unrepentant Tull fiend, and have been since 1980.

  • I am such an unrepentant Tull fiend that I believe since he fully learned the limitation of his singing voice about 99 he has often done some of the finest singing of his career, stop looking at me that way.

Further if this is any indication of the next Tull release, and i do believe they intend to use Miss Shankar when schedules permit, (and I hope one track each for all 3 recent violin girls)another very rich Tull offering is in the offing, not that it will sell much.

  • Thanks for posting.

  • This is a beautiful colaboration...Keep it going Ian......we LOVE YOU!*****Aqualung and royce keep posting as long as possible becuz it makes us happy to hear this music!

  • with all respect, but ian should do more (and maybe only) instrumental stuff. he's a fantastic musician and should not ruin it with his voice, which is pretty much gone =( ... great vid by the way. more of than in future, ian, please.

  • Yes, it's ashame about Ian's voice.

He used to have a great, deep powerful voice in the 70's. Too much smoking through the years took it's toll.

  • C'mon guys, he's over 60 years old. I actually find it very human and endearing - like growing old together

  • But his voice was shot by the time he reached 40.

He even said smoking ruined his voice... not age.

  • You're right. He did this 2-eveningconcert in Bombay in the early '90s - he just couldn't sing the second night. Lucky I got tickets for the first evening

  • Yes, and so is Roger Waters. But Roger can still sing (ex: Bring The Boys Back Home).

I somewhat agree with kataz. Ian's voice is a shadow of what it used to be, and hearing him strain so hard to get out what little he does, it's kind of sad.

but he's his own man, I'm sure he will do what he sees fit.

  • Fantastic sound

  • Wow, this man can blend in with any kind of music... amazing to see he is still going, in India no less... they ought to put out an album that sounds like this...

  • beautiful!!! thanks a lot!!!

  • Really cool to hear some new material. Thanks.
