How to Enabled MMS on Your iPhone 2G

for some reason, an iphone 2g that I bought unlocked and jail broken has a whole bunch of apps on it that wont open all the way. Once I start downloading activatemms2g app, it starts to download then kicks me back out to the main menu and out of cydia. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thnks.

try downloading surpreme prefs and then turning on MMS and it workeed for me

i did the steps but after i install it and the reboot button pops up cydia says reloading data and it looks like it resprings my iphone. it doesn't let me hit the reboot button and it says its instaled but i still dont have mms options.

This doesnt work anymore. I've re jailbroken and rebooted several times but sitll dont have the MMS option. Everything else works fine in Cydia, installous etc.

can you re jailbreak and unlock your iphone and try this again if it helps you.

i dont know if this came up for u, but i found that if you use the older version of itunes (8.2.0.10) it alows u the option for the "cellular data network" in the settings, not sure u get it if u have the latest version of iTunes. Also an older version of iTunes gives u the option to load a ipcc via shift+update, and the new version? only ipsw. jus a heads up, cause i saw alot of folks sayin that they couldnt find the option and also, it happend to me

After I rebooted my iphone, i check my messages and it doesn't show the mms options

P.S. i rebooted more than once and its still the same

this dosent work for me. my phone re started and i dont have that added setting under messeges. what did i do wrong?

open cydia and click on the search in the box write ActiveateMMS2G you will get it there if it says install click on the and confirm if not it should say modify click on the modify and then reinstall it work now good luck.
