Gary Mullen comes really close, when it comes to the sound... His vocal range is just a little bit smaller than Freddie's was in his best days. And his timing isn't as good as Mercury in his best days.. but it's still quite good.

Tonight I'll see "One Night Of Queen" in Groningen. I think it will be enjoyable. ;-)

@MeijerMartijn Actually I don't think there is a difference in range. If anything, Mullen's range is the same but he hits more high notes per concert than Mercury did. Then again sometimes he should probably save it. On this one some high notes are not quite perfect.

Saw them yesterday. Eyes closed there is no telling the difference.

I've seen One Night Of Queen at Edinburgh Playhouse and my god it was just sensational! Me and my friend felt like we were actually at a Queen gig. I believe Gary Mullen is related to Freddie haha!

When Gary sang Barcelona with Ruth Kerr, I was honestly close to tears and had goosebumps all over my body! Bloody fantastic.
