  • Fascinating creatures!

  • I love those bats :)

  • Bats and all !

  • For a teacher you sure do live in a very very nice part of the world Saint !!!

  • Spectacular shots mr Tarantino, what an awsome rooftop view you have. Are those bats flying there every night? Is there still red dust in the sky or is it you editing the movie, and did I see coloured lights on the Harbour Bridge or is it also special effects?

  • Some sunsets, usually the nice ones, the bats fly out to enjoy them just like people do. I think its recreation and a joy flight more than anything. They are delightful little creatures, not like the bats in the northern hemisphere. Yes, I was just editing, just to show some contrast of the sky: then and now, yet the dust storm wasn't long ago. It was very weird and unnerving. People like to watch the bats. Unless they piss on you, that is not nice...

  • Bats are so cool. I love watching them in the evening. The bats in your video look quite large. The ones where I live are a lot smaller. Do you Know where they sleep? I think the ones near me sleep in abandon mine shafts and under bridges.

  • They live in the trees at the Sydney Botanic Gardens. There are thousands of them.

  • Bats everywhere? That's so awesome!

  • Lots of them. There seems to be more and more every year. They are friendly little creatures.

  • LoL Good to know they are so well mannered.

    Cheers, Saint! And Happy Halloween!

  • They have such personality. I think they celebrate beauty just as people do, they are literally having a joy flight, maybe marvelling at the people in their funny looking apartment buildings. They could also be scouting for fruit trees, nectar or flower trees, seeds, nutty things. They are protected in the city. Happy Halloween! Cheers Johnny!

  • very scary

  • They are fruit bats, they are really flying foxes. They are herbivors that eat plants, fruit and I think sometimes insects. These ones can see and rely less on radar or sonar.

  • Nice

    5*

    All the best

    Kean

  • what drugs are you on man :)

  • yeah, bit trippy. Something that goes up to the rooftop! I like the sounds in this. The animals in the city sound like aliens or zombies calling out in the dusk. Especially the reverb in the city streets and across the harbor. It's a pity I spoil it with my face, but that's my hallmark, haha.
