T-T anyone know a free converter for sony vegas, i need to make an amv and the files wont open in there D'X it will accept mp4 but anything other then that says "the files could not be dropped" Q~Q help? anyone??

I've been having a similar problem with Vegas 9.0 lately.

It seems to be a problem with Quicktime, though...

I'm able to see video (MP4 file type), but my resolution's automatically re-scaled by QT...

Been stressing over this for 2 hours now.

I just open it in windows movie maker, save it as a different file and open in sony lawl

Dude i'm thinking of getting a flip ultra hd 3rd gen. I use sony vegas for my videos and have heard there are issues with the mp4 compatability. Can you tell me for sure that with Vegas 10 you having no more problems? Thanks man

@19AnniAngel92 i got an update from 9.0d to 9.0e then they started working. but intill i got the update i had to convert the videos to like avi, wmv, etc

I have this problem too, I downloaded a k-lite codec pack and just installed it...it didn't work. I'm trying again but with another codec pack.

man i can't put the MP4 file it self ... it tells me that Sony Vegas could not open it !!! i downloaded K-lite thingy AND STILL IT DOESN'T WORK !! HEEEELP

i think you dont have the right codec to see the video. what you can do is download k-lite codec. its free. that should solve your problem.
