This is one of the reasons I am very pleased with the EU.... as a Dutch citizen I can move to Belgium and become a citizen (I am really thinking about it)

Not really. I love the culture and the cuisine but Belgium has to get off it's lazy ass and stop bickering and start governing a country.

Lazy asses aren't the problem, incompatible ones are. The political issues will persist as long as there's 2 different ideologies trying to govern the same country, and the governing is mostly done on a communal level anyway (that's why we have 7 govts, only 1 of those isn't working). Non-Belgians seem to care about the political impasse more than most Belgians do.
