I used to live there in the 50s. The cab service was run using "2dr Ford Prefects" painted yellow. There was a cafe in the square called "Primrose" run by Ellis and Pat Ford, I worked there partime, all the young people used to spend their time in there. I quite understand some of the comments today about nothing to do. But my day we made our own fun, it was the start or "Rock and Roll" I must find the time to go back and do a memory lane job.
ive lived in stratford all my life, some of you commenters must think im so lucky, im not. its boring. theres no good shops or anything fun, just alot of tourists and old people. ive never been to shakespeares birthplace of any of those attractions, booooring, im quite proud of that
Stratford was the first place I visited in England, and it was also January, so everything was just like I remembered it! When you drove past Swan Theatre, that really brought back some memories...
those trees are not there anymore (trinity church)

Stratford is my favourite place in the UK. I love the old Shrieve's house. :o)

I lovingly called it home for an entire month when I was there for my first time in '90, for my 30th birthday. I loved it so much!:D
