What's wrong with Europe man? They have sun, good booze and beutiful women.
The only problem with the EU is that all we do is trade goods. I'd like to trade three million slappers from Essex for some bronzed senoritas. I bet that would help the British public get behind the EU.
"Following the Irish vote the Lisbon Treaty should be declared dead" what an absolute cretin. Excellent example of David Camerons political judgement and foresight.
Oh, the Irish need time to discussion how to deal with the "situation", do they? What situation is that? Democracy, you mean? Y'see, the powers that be just cannot accept anything less than completition of the "European project", and they aren't about to let a little thing like the will of the people get in the way. They're so out of touch, too, it's absurd.
We might as well be giving Nazi salutes to the EU commissioners for how far into totalitarian fascism they have stooped to.
If they continue to ignore the people, if they continue to secretly trade away our rights and decision making power, there won't be any sovereign nations left by 2012.
This is blitzkrieg on a scale more dangerous than war. Hitler could not of dreamed of being so successful as these criminals. We must demand a vote! Now! Regain your identity as sovereign nations.
Clearly we are not going to get anywhere with Labour, Conmservatibve or Lib Dems. None of them can be trusted to oppose the EU when it is clearly the only sensible option for us. Maastricht & all treaties since have proven this to be the case. Thus any MP - or ex MP who still alive - from all 3 parties who has in the past - or indeed now, supported any of the EU treaties must be publicly executed for gross crimes against the british people (and humanity generally).

When does the UK have the next election ? Its time for Mr. Brown to get voted out of power. I'm praying for an election, Godspeed.

Gordon Brown gets to choose, but it has to happen by 2010 (in June I think).
kyotorocks 3 years ago
If they follow the previous pattern it will be in June of 2009 but Brown could hold it off until June 2010.

New World Order Gordon Brown whoring it up for whatever it is that he's been offered.

Brown utters only excuses.
If one country votes No, then the treaty is dead. Why continuing the ratification?

The put pressure on Ireland to vote again, of course. Or, as Cameron put it, "bully" them.

the future of europe . Not politicians. They are a waste of space - especially if they speak in favour of the EU project
