By the way I was at a parade today in my city celebrating a championship where we disposed of an LA team on the way. You guys love a prima donna who won't win you anything without being Robin and someone else is Batman have a good one fellas Go SIXERS
5× NBA Champion (1980, 1982, 1985, 1987, 1988) 3× NBA MVP (1987, 1989, 1990) ... 107 win.[23] Johnson became the first and only rookie to win the NBA Finals MVP ...
@HeadlessEye First of all it takes a year for you to reply to a statement that I made two years ago it's obvious the smog has damaged your brain. I went to my parade then and I will go to my parade this year too.
A smog joke, how creative. I responded because your dumbass statement has since been proven completely wrong, and I wanted to rub it in. Brag about the Phillies all you want, I don't give a crap about baseball. I'm an NBA fan, and as far as I can tell, the Lakers completely shit on the 76ers. 5x champs, looking for more.
@nwa103 Like I said it is real easy to say something 2 years later you had nothing to say at the time I made the statement but that is typical of LA bandwagon jumping fans. It's all good I'll even say they won't win this year either. They better be careful or they may not even make it out the west.
I remembered, I was in High School, at the time, and I was loving every minute of this, as I was watching this on TV.
But, when I saw these Lakers kick these Weak-Ass Sixers two more times in the Finals, I am just loving this even more.
This was Magic Johnson's game, 42 Points, 15 Rebounds and 7 Assists, the obvious MVP of the Finals. Magic stepped in, when Kareem injured his Ankle in Game 5.
In 1980, 1982, and in 2001, the Lakers beat Philadelphia in the Finals.
Yes, 1983 was the only year that the Lakers lost to Philadelphia. But, since 1983, what have the Sixers ever done? NOTHING! Only one Finals appearance, in 2001. And who kicked their Sixer Asses?
You guessed it, the Lakers.
Since 1983, the Lakers have won six more World Champioships. How many have the Sixers won since then? Phialdelphia 76ers Suck!!!
But if I remember correctly Andrew Toney had a 25 point 4th quarter in the regular season when James Worthy was healthy and playing and Norm Nixon was too. He continued to be an assassin in the playoffs also. It wasn't just Moses. If we had both Andrew Toney and Moses in 1980 and 1982 as opposed to Lionel Hollins and Daryl Dawkins things would have been different. The Lakers were talented but not invincible as Houston proved the next year.
Who cares, that's just one year. We kicked your Philadelphia Asses THREE TIMES(1980, 1982 and 2001). Let's also talk about what the Sixers have done after 1983.
Philadelphia 76ers(1984-Present): One Finals Appearance(2001).
Los Angeles Lakers(1984-Present): Six World Championships(1985, 1987, 1988, 2000, 2001(Remember that one?), and 2002).
The Sixers will always be the Lakers Bitches, Hands down!
Jamaal Wilkes with the dunk to conclude matters..he finished them off again in Game 6 of the 1982 World Championship Series with his break-away lay up, giving the Lakers their 8th NBA title..
This shows how great Magic was he scored 42 points on 23 shots 15 rbs 7 assists and he was a 20 year old rookie. Wow

Yeah right, Asshole. Tell me. Who's in the Final right now? Not your Weak Ass 76ers, thats for sure. Just shut it for now!
Even if we don't win the Finals, still, we would be doing a Hell of a lot better that you, that's for sure. How's you Golf Game going?
Jiltedin2007 3 years ago
Real smart now you have an MVP who doesn't win it all. Nobody remembers who lost the Finals only who won and Kobe still can't win without Shaq
