  • I myself would Love to tour to botswana because of the series they have produced namely NO.1 Ladies Detective agency everytime I see this prgramme it makes me feel like it is sfae to go there and tour and then seeing this programme every week on cable tv here also shows to me that I am happy with my country to have helped over the many of years sending money to Africa and now we can see the progress of the profits that help the children and families there as well Awesome guys well done!

  • i miss this show so much , i fell in love with botswana

  • I miss miss miss this show!!! My mom and all our friends loved this show....Please come back...

  • I've read that in some African countries, condoms distributed by some missionaries, were discovered to be actually infected with HIV. Is there any truth to that?

  • What happened? I had such high hopes for this show. It was my favorite show. I hope we can see new ones some day.

  • I'd like to take a long walk in Botswana :)

  • I really love the truely talented Jill Scott, and she is fantastic in this wonderful series; thanks for this very beautifully informative video!!!

  • I love Jill Scott in this wonderful series, and I love this very beautifully informative video!!!

  • I see glimpses of Tanzania in this vid. I lived in Tanzania for six years and cherish very fond memories of those yeaars. The most beautiful people in the world are the native Africans. No, and sadly I am not one. Love you Africa.

  • Yo I read the book... omg, there's a film! Ahhhhhh! Awesome!!! <3

  • AIDS IS THE GIFT OF WHITE SUPREMACY (COLONIALISM) BERLILN CONFERENCE. GENOCIDE

  • I THINK IAM IN LOVE

  • I wish I could go there. I would like to be with those people. What a wonderful book series that has exposed me to a part of the world I was totally unaware of.

  • This series was shot just up the road from here in Gaborone, Botswana. It's just great.

  • AMEN! As has been continually done for more than half a millennium! Salut for the Clean Diamond!

  • I used to watch this movie on a New Zealand TV channel and loved it. This is a true African art.

  • I just so happened saw a series of movies that Jill Scott played in No'1 Ladies Detective Agency. This show was very delightful. I think HBO cancelled it. Botswana's ecomony isn't half bad. I thinks surrounding countries could really learn something.

  • I enjoy the show, but they need to stop lying about liking an morbidly obese woman, all those guys have slim wives.... lol Jill I love you, but stop perpetuating and glorifying an unhealthy body weight

  • @yourboidan As opposed to say.. the US that perpetuates and glorifies the morbidly underweight people..

  • @yourboidan she gained weight for this role. she isn't nearly as big as she is here and also botswana and a number of other african nations prefer a heavy set woman they force feed their daughters to make them big and roll their limbs to distribute the fat. this may or may not be a good thing but they damn sure love it that way. neither jill nor those other women are morbidly obese. how come you don't look at someone whose morbidly skinny and talk about an unhealthy body weight?!!

  • @kizzie369 YOU TELL 'EM- SPEAK TRUTH- RESPECT!

  • its such a cozy story mixed with nail biting stuff 2

id love to go to botswana just to c da animals n wildfife

  • as an African I got to say I never felt offended by this show. They are nothing like many others that are patronising and potray Africa and Africans in the most dispeakable manner. At first I was concerned as to why the lead role went to an American instead of a native but Jill Scott fitted in so well. She got the accent well, her figure, smile and her warmth are typical African woman. She wasnt a diva.

  • I think you are blind and deaf as an African individual. me myself as African I love the whole idea of having Jill Scott as the lead role, and she's great at doing what she does, weather it's acting, or singing! weather you like it or not, she's as much as African as you, and me, and this is a fiction movie, not a based on true story!

let's love each other, not be racist, and discriminate about what part of Africa someone is from, or the African American for that matter.

  • @karuitha havnt u noticed that in every movie based on another country they use hollywood actors to bring more publicity, for exampl the movie Selena, the lead is playd by jenifer lopez...... its jus comon sense u knw otherwise it wudnt hav gottn that much publicity truthfully

  • @afrogirrl16 but jennifer lopez is puerto rican and she wasn't a star yet she was one of the fly girlz in the show "In Living Colour". the role of selena propelled her into stardom not the other way around and even though selena parents were from mexico she was american, born in Texas. but you are right though they do use hollywood actors to play international roles because at the end of the day it's all about the bottomline and they make more money off of the superstars most times.

  • Beautifull country, lovely people, fantastic show, love love love it.

    Please keep writing it Sandy.
