Hi - no I haven't tried it on Iver yet as he has a large exhaust regulator in the chimney to slow him up. I will probably do so at some stage though. I have done trials on a couple of Mamods - and with a good load and moderate speed they sound great. I will post a video in due course. I have also fitted an early Chuffer to a large Ossie loco with 5/8" cylinders and that sounds pretty good too.
This is a much modified Cheddar "Iver" bought second hand on ebay. They have not been made for a few years now but still appear on ebay from time to time. The Iver is pretty difficult to control in unmodified form.
Thanks Columbine - as you say, the ossies do not chuff so much, but this is made even quieter by the exhaust regulator which is nearly closed to keep the speed down.

Have you tried the Summerland chuffer on Iver? Intrigued to know how it would work with the ossilators.

Ah yes Peter - but it's not the going up I worry about, it's the coming down the other side! Worth a try though........

Well done, up to your good standard again! I suppose ossilators ruin the chuff, my ossie doesn't much either!
