Great video.. I just got a new one today, an after owning so many glocks i've gotten used to the simplicity of disassembling them. This helped me a lot, this is a cake walk compared to field stripping a 1911 lol
Z'boy: Look at the front of you slide..see the groves on each side below the barrel opening. Look at the two steel rails on either side inside the gun frame. The slide rides on those two steel rails, NOT on the polymer frame. I thought just as you did that the slide traveled on the polymer frame, until someone in the Kahr Forum explained this to me.
but as for the metal guides, if you look there are two long ones down low in the front part of the frame, (look at the front of the slide, those two small slits on the outsides is where it rides)
Dude the gun will not fail on you.. It is polymer rails but the front slide is giuded with steal. Look at it in your video 1:50. So no fail... it has steal where it needs it.
Thanks so much for making this video. I recently got a CW9 from a friend and this explained everything I needed to know on how to clean it. Video is much better than a manual.
@viperchilli Whats going on brother. I have a tip for you. I don't recall if I mention it in the review but if you load the factory magazine that comes with the gun with 7 rounds in it and manually pull back on the slide to make it release the round will stove pipe in the feed-ramp. I was told by another youtuber that the proper procedure is to lock the slide back insert the 7 round magazine and release the slide with the slide release leaver and that way it doesn't jam. very helpful tip.
@zaldivarbigboy That's bro, yeah your dead on right. I noticed that pulling back the slide with the clip in sometimes the round gets stuck, was worried it might be a fault with the gun, but this makes sense. I'll do it this way from now on - thanks!
@viperchilli You should get the steel spring pin for your Kahr. The one in the Kahr cw series are plastic. They will wear in time, and fail or break if you shoot alot. You can get them at kahrshop.com
@ccolon245 The Kahr I got from a friend and it already had the steel spring. He always made sure his guns were the best they could be. R.I.P. my friend.
cool! this is really simple, i cant wait to get my 9mm back, just so you know, there are little COD4 players who will bitch about you not checking the gun, so add an annotation that says you did, that magazine next to you has ammo in it, so prepare for trollage! thats a very nice pistol, how much? come in .45?
@Dmajorproductions if you have time come and check the review of the same pistol, I had to edit this part out and make a diferent vid cause of the 10 min limit on here. so check out the review. It comes in all calibers and its on the 350-400 brand new.
@jamesdewer: same here. also in kali... was quoted $395 but came to $450 after taxes and transfer fee down here in san diego.

Wow. That was an exceptionally well informed video except for the obvious slide rail error. But I think it was much better than most videos on YT.

Well made vid,

I missed it too at first.
