my neighbor had his dads jijoes and when i was 5 in 2005 i got to play with them,sadley i broke the rubber bands in most of them, but the only joe i still have from him is shockwave i remember he had hardball,reddog,mercer,croc master,sgt.slaughter.he gave me reddog then in the morningi was getting ready for kindergartin school i accidently broke him so i tried to use elmers glue but it didnt hold fun memories i just wanted to share

Congratulations! There are some characters that I had when I was a child. I believe that the early ARAH was better than the next waves because of the plastic quality. In the 90´s Hasbro focused more on the items and finally, the 25th anniversary invest more on the details, but the plastic quality is poor.

My dad gave me my first GIJOE when I was 4 and until now I had at least a few of them and recently I bought some of the 25th anniversary figures.

wittynameguy, that is so true. Ive been collecting 25th anniversary figures and i cant seem to get into the way i want to , like i did when i was a kid. so i just sit there fiddle with them or ill set them up in different scenarios and just look at stare at them for an hour. i have to say i am the master of setting up. i should set up for toy commercials cause those commercial setups used to suck.
