I know some folks on the local search & rescue team who have to go after "stuck drivers" along this route multiple times per year (primarily from winter through late spring). They usually aren't at all prepared for getting their vehicle unstuck, for spending a long time out there while waiting for help, or for walking several miles in snow/mud to find cell phone reception. Funny stuff!!
