what i perceive as part of the reason is because a good amount of the acrobatic moves that they execute use the core muscles, balance, and control using their center of gravity. so being muscular isn't a huge necessity. but then of course you have your power bboys like junior and physicx who are pretty built and probably have to be for their moves

A lot bboy moves are used with little tricks to make it easier. In a handhop, de breaker kicks his legs to help him jump. In a flare, the breaker makes speed with his legs.

In a handstand or whatever like it, the gymnast lays all his weight on his arms, without any trick.

I respect bboy superman 4 what he does, but the trailer basically showed him doing the same moves over and over again, and they were all power moves.
