  • I want to go to American Idiot so badly :')

  • @jackaaayyyyy10207 sad its closing on april 25th

  • @jenniferfeliciano66 at least its going on a national tour soon enough ! i'll probably be able to afford it since i don't have to travel to NYC. just sad it won't have Billie :(

  • @jackaaayyyyy10207 yeah. I can't afford even though I live In NYC.But i'm happy that at least other people can enjoy it since its going on tour.

  • @jenniferfeliciano66 same. its an amazing show and now at least more people will get tge experience of seeing it.

  • There great at singing Green Day's songs

I hope i can get tickets to this for Christmas

    :)

  • Is it just me, or does one of the guy's in the beginning sound a hell of a lot like Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy? Just caught my ear...xP

  • @Miharu1109 it does!

  • God, Caplan's voice is perfect for the role.

Something that was only made more apparent to me after seeing Stark Sands. While Stark is good, there's something forced about his tone that just reminds me of a bad imitation of Caplan's natural voice.

  • it should be dreamin not dreaming

  • I thought this was great...until the switch back to Before the Lobotamy. They totally butchered it the 2nd time. Before the Lobotamy is one of the most tender heartfelt songs Green Day has ever done, and those guys just made it sound overdone and whiny. Billie Joe does that one better for sure. Just my opinion. Love both songs, love the band. c:

  • Stark is better

  • Matt was good and he did originate the role, but I think Stark's singing on 21 Guns is WAY better than Matt's.

  • for anyone that thinks this is stark sands it is not, This is Matt Caplan of rent fame from the Berkeley rep run of the musical. His voice is amazing. I wonder why he didn't go on to the broadway version. Stark Is still amazing as well though.

  • I've always wanted to hear extraordinary girl as a duet...I'm watching the musical on June 1rst but I just wanted to hear this one in advanced...whatshername is amazing!

  • Stark Sands has an amazing voice, and this scene in the play was sooo cool!

  • do you have the album version of this song?

  • hey if u like green day check out my covers!

  • saw this tonite- it was phenom! christina sajous and stark sands rocked this song! the whole cast is awesome

  • isnt the first song from the new album

  • isnt the first song from the new album

  • what happened at the end?

  • who sings the original melody at the beginning and who sings the descant?

  • @MikeSearle123

I believe it begins with Stark Sands, and descants Chase Peacock.

  • @broadwayxandme Stark sands doesn't come in til " Dying, everyones reminded"

  • @broadwayxandme actually, since this from the off broadway run, it's matt caplan.

  • @foodandme it wasnt off-broadway, it was the pre-broadway tryout in Berkley

  • @MikeSearle123 There are four parts. The song starts with Tunny (played by Stark Sands on Broadway, and Matt Caplan in this recording), then Chase Peacock's ensemble track, then Favorite Son (Wallace Smith on Broadway, Josh Henry in this recording), then Ben Thompson's ensemble track. Hope this helps =)

  • this musics have studio versions?

  • extreme experience

  • This version of "Before the Lobotomy" reminds me of "Will I" from "Rent".

  • wow i was thinking the exact same thing! haha it sounds really good:)

  • @rcsi1 :)

  • did you record When its Time by any chance?

  • I don't like this version ._.

  • @Carolauz i agree with you

  • haunting!

    i love chase's solo!!

  • Hmm..... his voice isn't right for Before the Lobotomy, imo. Some of the male cast could have been picked better.

  • I agree.

  • @YayMedia i agree but ya know that cant always get the right guy

  • True. But I feel like the actors in this are just doing it cuz it's another show to do and they have to make money.

  • Dreaming

    I was only dreaming

    Of another place and time

    Where my family's from.

    Beautiful =)

  • or 21 guns

  • you should post give me novocaine if you have it too :]

  • ooh, thanks! Do you happen to have Are we the Waiting/St. Jimmy? This was a great show! :)

  • i was so bummed i didn't get are we the waiting, but i do have st jimmy. it'll be up soon, probably.

  • Fantastic, thanks!
