dude cooler is just alot stronger than king cold and frieza...they can't go to the final form frieza can go 100% power but still not strong enough to go onto the final form and the fact that he was desperate to beat goku he would've used it if he could. King Cold I doubt he can transform to the 3rd to final.

He only got a second of a chance to display his power, so therefore, you can't say that he can only contain his second form. And also, if he was only as powerful as a second form Frieza, why would he challenge Goku, the Super Saiyan?

You have to think of the fact that frieza was a Saga and Cooler was a movie that's why they made it look so long to defeat Frieza because a 10 hour movie only fighting Cooler would be dumb.

well really goku was 150 000 000 on namek and only getting use to the transformation but by the time on earth in the movie he was 231 000 000 so he had improved thats why he lasted shorter.
