@YouTips4U I agree. I've been using all three oils mentioned (at different times) but JOJOBA oil is my rising star oil. I have started using jojoba oil constantly for the last couple of months and it's amazing, my skin and hair now look and feel beautiful and healthy
Hi, yes it will. Moisturizing before bed is one of the best times for your skin. As you sleep, your skin drinks it in and repairs itself. Continue your nightly treatments always.
Hi, jojoba gets absorbed so nicely by your skin, you should have no problem with it. It will not cause you to sweat and you can apply makeup after, just give it a bit of time to soak in first before you apply your makeup. If you accidentally put on too much gently blot it off with a tissue.
Hi, it is usually well tolerated and does not cause breakouts, however, it is possible for someone to have a reaction to anything. So discontinue for now and when the area heals try it again. If you notice a break out again, then do not use it.
Thanks so much for the tip to put the oil on right after you get out of the shower. I have been experimenting with coconut and sesame oil once my skin is dry and find them hard to apply. It just seems to take a lot of oil to do the job and is hard to rub in evenly in all spots; seemed to take too much work to get in the skin. And then I was a little too oily for awhile. I am definitely going to experiment with different oils right after the shower; there may be hope yet! :-)
I just saw this at Trader Joe's this last week! I never heard of it before I just saw it and picked it up! I love this stuff! I have dry skin and if I don't use something heavy on it I tend to itch because I'm so dry. I love using Organic pure coconut oil but now that I found Jojoba oil I use it after a shower instead! My skin has never been so soft! I used it in my shampoo and conditioner last night for the first time and I have to say my hair has never been so soft and healthy! Great review!
Hello!I never thought about jojoba oil as a skin&scalp moisturizer,i will definetly try that out!My question is : what do you think of almond oil?Does it have the same effects?Which one is better?
Hi, generally this is used as a scalp massage. I love to do it before bed and leave it on while I sleep to promote hair growth. Be sure to use only a very small amount. I always do it the night before I wash my hair.
@YouTips4U HI :) im 15 years old and i used to have crazy thick hair, that was less than a year ago. But recently ive gotten this habit of scratching my head ALOTTT. So bad i think its been cause me to loose lots of my hair. Do you think this will help me repair my scalp to its previous form? Im trying to stop scratching i just need something to repair it? any suggestions
Hi, I'm hesitant to recommend you place anything on your scalp at this time if you have open skin from scratching. You should probably see a dermatologist to find out why you scratch your head so much and are losing hair.
Hi is castor oil safe to use on my skin and hair..I have been using in on my nails at night, and my nails are really long right now..Thank you for your tips : }
I definitely will! But I've got a question about it! Will using this as a hot oil treatment (massaged into my scalp & into the rest of my hair) promote hair growth? My hair is super thin and takes forever to grow!
Hi, it's wonderful as a massage oil for your scalp and there has been a lot written about the benefits of promoting hair growth. Jojoba oil is actually being added as an ingredient in hair growth products. I use it at least once a week before I go to bed. I massage my scalp with a small amount. It feels so good and after I shampoo my hair in the morning, it looks wonderful.
Hi, you can if you are not acne prone. I use olive oil on my face as well and have not problem with it. I love it. If you are acne prone, however, you may want to stick with the jojoba oil. It's lighter and very similar to skin oil. Olive oil is heavier. When I use olive oil, I do not place it all over my face, but only around my eyes to protect that area from developing wrinkles.
Do you use homemade/natural shampoo? With so many great natural oil conditioners I'm now interested in making a shampoo gentle yet effective in scalp cleansing w/o stripping natural oils. Keep bringing on the vids~love 'em!
Hi, homemade shampoos are great. I will be posting some recipes on my blogspot so please check it out when you have time. I have lots of hair care info there that I post regularly!
Hi, I do like them both. It depends on what I want to do to my hair. Jojoba is lighter and I use it more on a daily basis. Coconut oil is a great deep conditioning treatment that I use periodically.
I got jojoba oil at my local health food store, and wow. My face is glowing. I'm so glad I found a DEEP moisturizing oil I can use WITH my drying acne regimen that won't break me out!
I have started using jojoba oil as my daily moisturizer - and I think it's clearing up my acne (I have suffered from acne since i was 17 - so 6 years) I really hope it's going to work. Love using it as a hair treatment at night though,

Could you do a video on your skin care routine, your skin is beautiful. I have this jojoba oil and don't really know how to incorporate it into my skincare regime.I would love to know what products you use.thank you.
Hi, thank you for your lovely compliment on my skin. I do take try to take care of it. Jojoba oil is wonderful and can be used around your eyes, in your smile lines, and anywhere on your face or body that is dry and in need of moisture. I do have video up where I talk all about the cleanser I use on my skin and creams, etc. Please check it out when you have time. It's called Skin Care and How to Reduce and Prevent Wrinkles.
I love your videos, I watched them first time today. but I am confused with your videos about the oils (coconut oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, shea butter); do they work the same for hair, skin, face? which one is better? thank you can I use shea butter on face? thank you very much
Hi, all of these products are equally wonderful and I use them all. Each has a different consistency, but can be used interchangeably depending on your needs. Coconut oil, olive oil, and shea butter are heavier and jojoba oil is much lighter and suitable for every day use or for faces that are acne prone. It is also wonderful for scalp massage and promoting hair growth. Try them all and you decide which ones you want to include in your life or all you may want them all.
They do not all work the same for hair and face, and each one has it's own best application. I do not use shea butter on my hair, only skin, and it's great for your face, especially in the dry winter. I love it. I use all of these regularly and love them.
Hi, you can try coconut oil on your face too, but do a spot test first to make sure you don't break out. I love using it around my eyes to protect me from getting wrinkles. Also, be sure you don't use tea tree oil full strength on your face.
HI i have the hot oil treatment of Jojoba's and i was wondering if i could use this hot oil treatment the same way you recomended in this video? Let me know thanks
Hi, are you saying that you have a jojoba hot oil treatment? Check the ingredients to see what else is contained in this hot oil treatment. If it's just pure natural jojoba oil, then yes, you can use it in the same ways as I recommend jojoba oil. If it contains other ingredients then, I would say my answer could be no depending on what other ingredients it contains. Please let me know and I'll try to help further.
I didn't know about this product before. I tried it out for about a week now and have to say that I absolutely love it. It's great on my skin and cracked lips I find. I started massaging it into my scalp before washing my hair. I hope it helps with hair growth. Thanks a lot for sharing this with us.
A great tip for getting inexpensive and all natural oils that are great for conditioning skin and hair is to go to your local Indian store! They have several varieties. Almond, coconut and mixed herbal are some of my favorites. Just make sure it says all natural on the label!
Hi, thanks so much for the tip! I absolutely love almond oil and coconut oil. I have to see if there is an Indian store near me. Thanks for sharing :o)
Definitely. Just put a small amount of jojoba oil in your hands and rub your hands together. Then go under your hair to your scalp and begin massaging in circular motion using gentle pressure. Concentrate on one area at a time. It's even more wonderful if you have someone else do it!
Thanks! I've also heard great things about jojoba oil. Glad to see that you also agree that it's a great oil. I will buy it and use it on my hair and nails. Thank you so much. I trust your judgement.
Yes, both are great for wrinkles. Jojoba is known as natures wrinkle fighter and is rich with antioxidants. It holds water in the skin while penetrating deep into your skin's structure. It leaves skin soft and supple, and smooths fine lines including stretch marks and scars.
Thanks for sharing this great tip with us. Could you give some buying help please? I have checked jojoba oil on ebay and there is a multitude of different kinds and I am confused now which one best to buy...could you check out ebay and give a few hints on what to look out for? Thanks again.
Certainly - I saw the same one I use which I think is wonderful. The seller is buyitnatural and has 100% positive feedback. He also has the best price ($9.47) with free shipping. I will send you the link in a personal message. It's too long for this area. BTW, you can get it cheaper if you have a Trader Joe's near you. I pay around $6-$7.
I love jojoba oil! Great tips! I have used it on my hair and skin for 2 years. It works great as pre shampoo conditioning as well as after. I always remove makeup with it now since baby oil contained mineral oil...yuck!
Almond oil is wonderful. I actually buy almond butter because I love to eat it and pour the oil from the top into a plastic container and use it as a deep conditioning treatment. I love it! Thanks so much for sharing :o)
