very very good points...thanks for saying that. I want to marry my girlfriend, I want to have a baby with her, I can't wait for the time when her tummy grows and I can be the one to take care of her and grant her any wish and take care of our sweet baby...
@HONEYDROP11 Forgive me for picking on caucasian history, but in relevance to the fact that I live in Canada and that quite a few of my viewers are from the states, the relevance and possibility of knowledge of the history would be greater than speaking about how the Japanese tortured the Chinese in death camps. Also, the mention of Black History Month.
@pokeeuge oh I see I understand now ^^ also I hope I don't offend anyone by saying this but i think your very cute and i enjoy listening to your vids you seem to know what your talking about, its not just useless rambling.
I'm straight but i totally support Gay / lesbians because people can't control who they fall in love with, if you are gay that's just you. no one should change for other people if your happy thats all that matters. if people were the same the world would be a boring place. If anyone ever tries to tell you that you should be ashamed of yourself they are idiots because i think you are completely inspiring because you stand up for who you are if i was you I would be totally proud of my self . :)
I have a question, do You sometimes obsess about Your weight, if not can You say something to those who do? (What do You think a bout the pressure on staying on the specific weight, where anything below or above- even if slightly- is seen by the modern world as abnormal/at best/)
U talk about gay/lesbian/tomboy a lot, but what is ur opinion on transsexual/transgender. u said u dont consider urself transsexual, but what about transgender (genderqueer or something idk, just asking)
@Kpoplover881 I have a video called "sex change", check it.
Also, I don't know why I would consider myself a transsexual because, by definition, a transsexual is a person who has gone under a sex change by surgery. I am a transgender/transvestite.
@pokeeuge i thought transsexual just means born into the wrong body so to speak, u don't need a sex change, and transgender is an umbrella term for anyone who doesn't conform w/ sex/gender, but idk. the video was good, thanks :)
Lesbian heroes!!! Did you hear about the lesbian couple who using their boat, risked their lives and saved about 40 kids from the gun man in Norway!!! I mean they SHOULD be proud. Just let you know, for your prideness in your whatever you areness. Granted, maybe you are a coward like me and likely to run as fast as possible in the face of gun fire. :).
However I know I'm sexually attracted the same sex and I can't change it.
I can mentally block it for a couple of years, but that won't make me happy, because than I can't be myself and it won't make the people around me happy.
@MrHankeyy Well, we live in a democracy. Treatment exists for clinical depression; that may not be related to you being gay and disastified with your self imposed chastity. If you choose to find somebody, you won't go to jail. Take care of yourself. Perhaps engaging with saquist is wasting your time? I'm straight by the way. I was insecure too. I never "hated" gays but sometimes being too close to guys made me uncomfortable.
@MrHankeyy Good to hear. Our life is short, don't waste it. Well, my cousin has clinical depression. In terms of her future, she has two wonderful kids and she is an executive for a medium sized corporation. Her husband died young and she loved him deeply. Damn good reason to be depressed. But the meds work for her and she took her life in her own hands. Whether that's your path or not, isn't for me to say. You make your future. Many homosexuals made the world a better place.
@truevoiceofsanity Alan Turing practically invented computer science and valiantly fought the Nazis with cryptography. He was a hero and its a tradgedy that his country paid him back by driving him to suicide. Irshad Manji, a lesbian with Pokeuge like hair, stares down the faces of fundamentalist muslims with logic and also has always made people question the political world in which we live. Your life is unwritten. Don't let others label u. Therapists are limited in what they can do.
@saquist I keep talking with you because I have a lot of compassion.
Homosexuality is a part of nature. It exists at several species.
I used to be like you too, hoping there was a cure.
This made me feel really insecure
I also fell in love with girls, but never was sexually attracted
The biggest problem with your case is, people try to make it work with a woman when they are gay, get children, find out they can't perform sexually around age 40-50 and basically ruins the life of your close family
@MrHankeyy news flash, you don't have to be gay to have "performance problems" around 40 or 50. That's why viagra sells a lot. Some people are also asexual by the way too.
@truevoiceofsanity True, but that seems a bit unhealthy and not to mention if they'll be able to get an orgasm at that age because of the lack of excitement.
Also, love stays at some level, but love crushes will be long gone. It makes performing easier.
Some peoples ignorance shocks me and I've seen it it does have a lot to do with "idiot Americans" ps I'm not gay in any way shape of form but I support you FTW
I'm not straight, bi, well, but those parades.... well have them in Vancouver and enjoy, but in Moscow - never. There is a little difference. It's just personal for Christ sake - if you like dick, why yell about it and make people take 10-miles detours? Parades are for weak 'complicated' personalities.
@ewffy1 I don't think you began to even understand the severity of emotional distress a person goes through when, for their entire life, almost everyone they know and don't know tell them that they are wrong and an abomination to human nature.
How alone some of these people feel, helpless and isolated.
So, for Christ sake, think a little bit, how about that? It's not as simple as "[liking] dick", similar to how people don't marry other people because they like pussy.
Heh... it's just a matter of sex, and sex is a personal matter, you think people surpress them cuz they hate that kind of love? No they hate homo sex, which is abnormal, I'll just stick to this opinion and be rather a retard)
I don't like hiding my bisexuality, but I can perfectly get on with this cuz this is abnormal.
I don't like haters and I don't like 'proud' gays.
It's like a psychology thing, which is a stick of two ends.
Being gay is like picking up your nose and eating boogers: you don't hurt no one,
but strangely retard people disapprove! As long as you eat them in your bedroom it's ok, but when you come to the streets being proud of it, it is... wierd at least. As wierd as being a homophobe. The thing is... as the ancients and South Park said... is in moderation, no parades omg'ls;ljg;dkfj
@pokeeuge The pride thing is a perfectly valid reaction to being told something is wrong with you. ;). Democracy is a great thing. Pride is easier to say than "Yo, we exist, we are happy productive citizens and we aren't alone thank you very much". Did the person really discuss "liking dick" verses "likin p."? Meh, kind of crass. :O. (Not too mention ppl have a lot of other parts.) I like my wife's legs. They are long and her nice eyes.
cont. fuck humans. (ps I still love you guys though <3) (pss I know I may have been hypocritical, I am completely aware of this) (psss I am also aware that I may not have made any sense to ANYONE. but I don't care cuz It made sense to meezyyy :D)
cont. I personally would think black history month would be WAYYYYYY more effective if they talked about topics that most people wouldn't cover, topics that most people would find "unpolitically correct". this being said I love gay people and I love black people! unfortunately we are humans and humans love to point out differences and attack those people for the differences. humans are scared that they wont fit in, and that's why you hardly see people sticking up for one another. in conclusion
I feel like it's not right to say white people have a bad history. white people may have enslaved black people but what people neglect to mention is the fact that black people SOLD their own people to white people. secondly there have been white people who have been enslaved too. we shouldn't focus on what people have done in the past, just focus on the future. plus black history month covers absolutely NOTHING except for the facts that we ALREADY ARE HAVE LEARNED.
Enjoy it. As you celebrate the right to be accepted in our society, I want to share you are story. When I was in grade 7, there was a gay BRUTALLY bullied for being "gay". He wasn't gay but the extent of the bullying was so bad that I often wonder if he ended up losing it. I found him on facebook, alive and well. He's not gay apparently but that doesn't matter. I apologized for not standing up for him; i was bullied too there for being "gay". Part 1.
I remember accompanying my friend who is gay to a pride parade and the first thing I was met with was a faceful of some guys junk. And a woman wearing a penis costume. Along with a hoard of nudists. I told him, "Buddy, I think you can manage without me," and he says "Nah, I don't think so," so we left. I am Spanish and have been to Spanish beaches. But this was outrageous. I agree with you though, but I have heard people say "What's the point of Black History Month? Why don't we have White his
I wish i were in Vancouver during the Gay Pride Parade because 1:i'm gay 2: i hear Vancouver has an amazing Gay Pride Parade plus I want to meet you Euge. Awesome video as always.
Dude! You live in Vancouver! Like, this just occured to me, and it's a bit farfetched and completely off topic, but have you ever seen or met Tegan Quin? She is fucking brilliant, along with Sara, but she lives in Montreal.
While I like the parade's intention that way you described, the parade's intentions seemed to be skewed from that. While I support gay rights, I can't support the open nudity and chaos to express equal right. I'm aware it's the minority who are doing this. Why is it okay for men to have their dick out? Just because it's a gay pride parade?
I want to ask you(and hope you reply to this)Do you feel that the nudity and chaos is justified? Do you view gay pride parades to be set backs in a way?
@ZzzoBored Chaos isn't much for it around here, so this answer comes from my environment.
As for the nudity though, I definitely don't endorse it. Rainbow undies and boxers are cheeky and give a good jeer, but full on nudity is completely unnecessary and I wouldn't want it either (though it does happen).
I do understand how some people see it as a set back, and with some ways some people act, yes it really can be. It's on a thin line and, atm, it's alright.
Oh believe you me people point out all the time why dont we have white history month. They usually just say stuff like that to black people. Im black and gay and trust and believe there are racist folks out there that say dumb things like that to black folks on purpose, some of thise people are gay. go fig. anyhow great vid
I don't mind people who are gay but do remember there are people out there who get told every single day of their life that they are wrong. Maybe being homosexual is hard, I don't know, but I think homosexuals get the hate in this world, even though I was taught to not believe in being that way, mainly because of my dad, but I think everyone feels the hate, like right now top things people hate on are homosexuals, fat people, and racism <<sometimes still. It would be better off if ppl cared.
a lot of gay people oppress and disrespect transsexual people. some of them even deny the existence of trans... following your logic, transsexuals are the poor oppressed people so there should be a trans pride and no gay pride...tricky subject, huh? :) personally I think pride is overrated. people should respect one another, no matter of gender, sexuality, skin color, etc.
@123cologneify It doesn't happen here, actually, so thanks for letting me know.
My parades always started out with a reminder of respect, and a reminder that we were all once and/or still being discriminated against, and none of us should wish such emotions upon another.
I guess it's just sort of a sad thing that this is happening in other places :\
@123cologneify There are transphobic homosexuals because some homosexuals are hypocrites.I don't like calling it "Gay Pride Parades" or "Gay Pride Month".It should be called "LGBT Pride Month". Because homosexuals aren't the only non-heterosexuals that exist on this planet.
@pokeeuge Exactly! When I hear a homosexual say "I don't like bisexuals" or "I don't transexuals" I'm like "Are you out of your BLASTED mind?". The only difference between the heteros who don't like bi and trans people and the homos who don't like bi and trans people is that the homos can't use the Bible to back up their ignorance like the heteros do because the Bible Boat sailed for them a LONG time ago.
@tripeandbean As a straight person, transsexual males make me feel like they are trying to "fool" me. I've been hit on by gays and in that case, i feel i'm given an honest choice. Bi-sexuals don't bug me but in a relationship with one, i could become insecure. I understand transexaula males have their needs. I'm ok with that, unless they try to date me without disclosing that they are transexual. Therein lies my unbiblical phobia.
What's cool about gay pride parades is that there are people from all walks of life of every race, gender, sexuality, and backround. Even if you are straight, if you are feeling opressed for any reason of how you are, if you go there, there is a sense of welcome and acceptance for all. I think anyone can benefit from a gay pride parade. It's all about being who you are and being strong and a lot of it is made ot be entertaining and fun! I think everyone should go to at least one of them :)
The hostess of last year's parade announced a disclaimer to every person watching the parade. She first addressed the possible Christians in the crowd who would be protesting the parade to leave them alone, for they never protest their church out of respect. Second, many things in the parade (sex fetishism, flamboyancy, drag queens, etc) may not appeal to everyone, but we should have respect for everyone for they are human too.
I'm black...I'm not proud to be black...I was never given a choice. How could I be proud of something that wasn't the work of my own hand. I'm happy to be who I am and I think it's far better to be happy than proud.
@MrHankeyy Thumbs up for you then. If I ever parade for pride it will be for a much larger accomplishment than just for being...me. President maybe...or saving a life. But I still would be just happy...
@saquist Damn Straight. (LOL) I think when have a gatering of any groep, that's different then the majority, you set yourself appart from the majority.
You dont have to be proud of what given to you by nature.
Be proud of what you have acceived or who you are.
@saquist Obviously the "pride" is a reaction. You have enough idiots telling you that "blackness" is negative and some people want to make a positive stance. Obviously, your TRUE pride is in what you do, not who society thinks you are, My favorite lesbian is Irshad Manji, a person who risks her life on a daily basis to provide an alternative against radical ISLAM but who also caused youth to be politically informed. I saw her live once, despite fear of terrorist intervention.
@truevoiceofsanity I don't identify myself as "black". It's not my most outstanding quality. I'm an artist, thinker and draftsman. Black just comes along for the ride. Pride is not useful to me... I see "pride" all the time and it always leads to awful things...it's never controlled and comes off like gloating..
@saquist I know and I fully understand. I'm a Taoist. I sometimes feel sad when people are "boxed in" to live for their label. Your blackness or blackitude is useful if you are in the sun. Other than that, its really a label. Artists are cool. I like artists. I'll glad join the artistic pride parade? When is it coming around. My point was the "pride" is a valid reaction; I never said it was the only one.
@saquist Aw man you just ruined one of my upcoming videos. LOLjk, but I completely agree.
I'm not proud to be gay either. It has never helped me in whatever I did/am trying to achieve, and it continues being nothing more than just a mere statement of a part of my life, just as much so as my hair is brown right now.
I guess what I wanted to word was that, when you go through years of being told to be ashamed, being told to have pride in simply who you are helps some people.
@pokeeuge You should still do it. Express it in a way that I have not. I'm sure you have other thoughts on the subject.
I understand why PRIDE is being used in this way...yet it seems reckless. Blacks took it too far. Originally it wasn't Pride Parades...it was marching for FREEDOM. These parades are more about flaunting the freedom not about attaining it. Instead of respectful demonstration, we have lude behavior and partying. It's not something that has dignity and respect. Hmmm
@saquist I'm all for proper pride, not pomposity, but true pride in something that one has worked for. Not something like being a certain race or something that never helped with anything. I just have more of a problem with people who think that, because I'm not proud of being gay, I'm automatically ashamed. Which makes no sense.
Think about it this way, if you worked REALLY hard to get this new job or something, wouldn't you want to ask your friends out for a dinner in celebration of that?
@saquist Everyone is different in their forms of celebration, but I don't think you understand the severity of what a person goes through emotionally when they are told to always be ashamed of themselves; that being themselves will thus prevent you from having certain rights. Knowing that we have support is enough for a victory cheer.
Elaborate on what you deem as "lude"; and as for partying, I'll refer to how I don't think you realize what a closeted person goes through mentally/emotionally.
@pokeeuge To put it all up front. I don't support homosexuality. I don't think it's equal rights but additional. I also don't support hate against the group. Nor do I support lobbying against it or legislature against because it's a moral issue we decide individually.
I went through about 10 years of my life where I thought I was gay. I understand what some go through. ( to a degree) Then again sex means more to most people than it does to me. Regardless, I think I understand.
@MrHankeyy I always call it like it is. it's not like a racial group. People are spinning it that way but it's not the same. It's a social group. This is political and I really don't care for the political spin in the media or the party lines. but that souldn't make a difference in legislature. It's a group and it's should be represented nontheless and not repressed.
Cont. Even if my children are gay, they'll know that I don't approve. But my kids won't be like everyone else. They'll be trained to make there own decisions. They'll know their father has no desire to control their life. My kids will be independent thinkers. The media won't control how they reason and neither will conservative hardliners. They'll understand EXACTLY why I don't approve, they'll accept it and I'll accept them and life will go on.
@MrHankeyy It's NOT wrong that the media tells us that it's okay to be gay. It's wrong that the media tells us that we have no choice. More than likely you could chose, Psychology though says it's unlikely you will. Memory is the biggest barrier to making that choice. There is only a small percentage of people that hormonally inclined to be gay or lesbian. That's why being gay is part of social group not racial group. And that's okay. It still needs to be represented as minority group
@saquist I also believe you're missing the point in homosexuality. You have no choice in who you love, you simply have a choice in acting upon that love.
Even if you choose to not flirt with a guy or date a guy, doesn't make you heterosexual because you still have feelings that define homosexuality.
cont. There in lies the danger behind the media. They are liberally driven. It's politics. Politics isn't about truth it's about getting what you want. My kids won't hand off responsibility for being gay. They'll know it's their choice even if they can't make any other choice. We all have different levels of will power. That's why I'm against early sexual encounters and pornography. It confuses the issue immensely,
cont. that's why the whole gay pride parade is so pertinent. I could see my kids joining this parade...but they would be the only ones there proud of what they did...because they knew they made a choice and their proud of it. But the majority of gay and lesbian believe they have no choice...and just like blacks and other racial groups they believe having no choice is something to be proud of....
@saquist I don't think you much understand the pride that's being the parade.
It's what we fought for within the topic of homosexuality which makes us proud.
Why does my art teacher march in the parade? Because he's proud to have stood up for him and his spouse, proud to have fought for his happy life and proud to stand up for equality within the educational system and life in general.
This pride comes from things most homosexuals go through, not from simply being gay or "having no choice".
@saquist I gave you 2 responses below. I responded without quoting your message 11h ago, don't know if you saw it. I hope you have a wonderful life to come.
I hope we find the truth. (Since we think different, 1 of us must be wrong, I'm open-minded)
If you ever want to message me about whatever, feel free. I want to help you if you'd ever need it.
But I can recognize love in its many forms. Love between friends, parents, relatives, siblings, God, lovers, sentimental objects and the list goes on.
I would say that love in itself is romantic on its own, even fantastical, but it's the little bit of magic that's left in the world.
@pokeeuge im a hopeless romantic too. If your still with peggy, she seems nice; if not, hope the next has her good qualities. I still hsve marriage on the brain; i hate the money sie but like the commitment side. I don't know if marriage is something that would appeal to you but I'm proud to live in Canada where you freely have that choice. (Sad that the legalization of that wasn't
Cont. I can't emphasize enough whether black or gay, the need for balance. Balance who are. "Nothing in excess everything in moderation" A parade is never going to be the same as finding the courage to stand up for yourself and who your are....and I think more importantly standing up for others and not just standing by while others suffer and are repressed too.
@saquist Whatever you feel about homosexuality is fine, as long as you don't purposely go out of your way to ruin someone's day. I'm all for tolerance and highly respect that.
And you're right, I've been to 4 parades in my life, still haven't gotten the courage to tell my parents straight up about myself (especially after something that happened in my life too). But I can remember, the first time I went to a parade with my best friend (who was also gay), me and her were shocked at how many...
@saquist people were actually there. How much support there was for people like us. It didn't give us courage, no, but it gave us something else - a sense of acceptance. That we aren't alone. Maybe it doesn't give me courage, but it may have to some other people. But regardless, it has been a positive point for the most part.
And could you elaborate on your last sentence? I'm not sure if I'm understanding it correctly... are you stating that we should help others instead of just gays? Or...
@pokeeuge Find the courage pokeeuge. This last year I did something that I didn't think I had the courage to do. I just did it and for better or worse I'm glad I did it. Everything's changed now but I like being up front than hiding what I did.
My last statement was just saying ...don't standby while others are repress no matter who or what they are. Doing that...will give you the courage to stand up for yourself more than any parade could.
@saquist I'll just simply state that something has happened in my life before which would need more courage than I can find at the moment to do what I need to do.
A single person can only do so much, and simply for people they already know. I sure didn't know there were so many homosexuals in my city, or supporters. I can help all my friends, yes, but if I wanted to help more, a public statement could work too, hence the parade. Parade doesn't give much, but it's still something.
@pokeeuge Brown hair is so boring; blue streaks would be a lot cooler!!! Being supportive to those who need said support in a positive way and hopefully having fun, is always a good thing. A talked to a girl at Laura Secord with a tattoo on her ear with two female signs on it. I thought that was an interesting way to come out.
xD I agree with you on every level. Thing is I HATE pride parades. Not for the fact that homosexual people are in them and fighting for rights, but sometimes people get a liiiiiittle too tipsy, and the things that heterosexual people "strongly dislike" about homosexuals commences.
D: Throughout this whole video I wanted to poke your coffee colored hair. But Yea I agree entirely with you =.= Ignorance is most annoying during these types of events. Happens every freaken year in edmonton.
I hope you have fun at the parade!! It is sad that people can't tell anyone if there gay, lesbian or bisexual.I asked my mother once if I was lesbian or bisexual, how would she react and she gave me this huge lesson about religious views and did not even answer me,you can not even tell your own parents about who you are even if you wanted too because of how they see it.But at least we know people are out there & not ashamed of who they are.I hope there is equality one day.
Woaah so next time someone asks me about why we don't have straight parades, I can just show them this video (and pray that they understand enough English to understand this). I think that's great.
I can't begin to tell you how amazing you and your videos are, Euge. ♥
Well, I hope you're not too disappointed by this, but I have to report that after looking very carefully at the most praised dicks at ratemydick dor org (and yes, that's a real thing), my one unsupported and irrational belief remains intact: In the entire Universe, there's only one dick worth looking at, and it just happen to be mine.
So science says I'm not gay, but I'd attend the parade if I lived in Vancouver, if only for a chance to meet the always lovely Pokeeuge.
@BohemianB lol. By the way, I'm totally a WASP and a male one at that and "proud" of it, in a sense, I'm happy with who I am. I think people can be happy with who they are without being jerks. I'd feel uncomfortable in a typical gay parade but I'm glad to live in a country that has gay parades. I did however, go out to a few ordinary (non-gay) bars with a gay co-worker once. When you are gay, the women SWOON at you. I told him, it was unfair. He laughed. ;).

@saquist In my case,
I've never went on dates with guys nor had sex.
I don't watch tv.
I've never idolised a gay person.
I've never had gay friends.
I even disliked gays up to age 18.
However I know I'm sexually attracted the same sex and I can't change it.
I can mentally block it for a couple of years, but that won't make me happy, because than I can't be myself and it won't make the people around me happy.
I was clinically depressed from age 18 to 21.
I never told anyone I was gay up to age 20

@MrHankeyy Well, we live in a democracy. Treatment exists for clinical depression; that may not be related to you being gay and disastified with your self imposed chastity. If you choose to find somebody, you won't go to jail. Take care of yourself. Perhaps engaging with saquist is wasting your time? I'm straight by the way. I was insecure too. truevoiceofsanity 6 months ago
@truevoiceofsanity No I'm fine now. I just hated myself before.
In 2 weeks I will move out of my parents house.
When being in such a serious depression, you can't find easy treatment.
Lots of therapists are idiots.
The first 2 years none even asked about my sexuality and I had to bring it up myself, seeing there was no positive evolution before.
I started crying when I had to think about my future.
Now, I try to help other who go the same route as me.
When you have nobody, you just don't talk.
MrHankeyy 6 months ago

Therapists are limited in what they can do.
truevoiceofsanity 6 months ago
@truevoiceofsanity Thanks, appreciated.
Your cousin has to make sure that the cause of the depression has a neutral feeling to it.
If she starts bursting in tears every time she thinks of her husband, it's best to talk a lot about the subject.
Because, when depression is only treated with medication, this illness most likely will repeat itself.
Medication isn't necessaries bad, it makes sure you don't fall deeper in the depression.
MrHankeyy 6 months ago
@saquist I keep talking with you because I have a lot of compassion.
Homosexuality is a part of nature. It exists at several species.
I used to be like you too, hoping there was a cure.
This made me feel really insecure
I also fell in love with girls, but never was sexually attracted
The biggest problem with your case is, people try to make it work with a woman when they are gay, get children, find out they can't perform sexually around age 40-50 and basically ruins the life of your close family
MrHankeyy 6 months ago
@MrHankeyy news flash, you don't have to be gay to have "performance problems" around 40 or 50. That's why viagra sells a lot. Some people are also asexual by the way too.
truevoiceofsanity 6 months ago
@truevoiceofsanity True, but that seems a bit unhealthy and not to mention if they'll be able to get an orgasm at that age because of the lack of excitement.
Also, love stays at some level, but love crushes will be long gone. It makes performing easier.

I'm not straight, bi, well, but those parades.... well have them in Vancouver and enjoy, but in Moscow - never. There is a little difference. It's just personal for Christ sake - if you like dick, why yell about it and make people take 10-miles detours? Parades are for weak 'complicated' personalities.
ewffy1 6 months ago
@ewffy1 I don't think you began to even understand the severity of emotional distress a person goes through when, for their entire life, almost everyone they know and don't know tell them that they are wrong and an abomination to human nature.
How alone some of these people feel, helpless and isolated.
So, for Christ sake, think a little bit, how about that? It's not as simple as "[liking] dick", similar to how people don't marry other people because they like pussy.
It's called love.
pokeeuge 6 months ago
@pokeeuge
Heh... it's just a matter of sex, and sex is a personal matter, you think people surpress them cuz they hate that kind of love? No they hate homo sex, which is abnormal, I'll just stick to this opinion and be rather a retard)
I don't like hiding my bisexuality, but I can perfectly get on with this cuz this is abnormal.
ewffy1 6 months ago
@ewffy1 Normality is but a figment of society. You also can't say that homosexuality is unnatural, for it exists in nature.
If it is the ignorance of the people to simply look upon sex and nothing else, then that is what I stand against.
People suppress for they do not understand and never think more beyond. That's why so many idiots stop at just "sex" and nothing else.
pokeeuge 6 months ago
@pokeeuge
The thing is... as the ancients and South Park said... is in moderation, no parades omg'ls;ljg;dkfj
ewffy1 6 months ago
@pokeeuge The pride thing is a perfectly valid reaction to being told something is wrong with you. ;). Democracy is a great thing. Pride is easier to say than "Yo, we exist, we are happy productive citizens and we aren't alone thank you very much". Did the person really discuss "liking dick" verses "likin p."? Meh, kind of crass. :O. (Not too mention ppl have a lot of other parts.) I like my wife's legs. They are long and her nice eyes.

cont. I personally would think black history month would be WAYYYYYY more effective if they talked about topics that most people wouldn't cover, topics that most people would find "unpolitically correct". this being said I love gay people and I love black people! unfortunately we are humans and humans love to point out differences and attack those people for the differences. humans are scared that they wont fit in, and that's why you hardly see people sticking up for one another. in conclusion
xXledheadXx3 6 months ago
I feel like it's not right to say white people have a bad history. white people may have enslaved black people but what people neglect to mention is the fact that black people SOLD their own people to white people. secondly there have been white people who have been enslaved too. we shouldn't focus on what people have done in the past, just focus on the future. plus black history month covers absolutely NOTHING except for the facts that we ALREADY ARE HAVE LEARNED.
xXledheadXx3 6 months ago
Part 1.

ZzzoBored 6 months ago
@ZzzoBored Chaos isn't much for it around here, so this answer comes from my environment.
As for the nudity though, I definitely don't endorse it. Rainbow undies and boxers are cheeky and give a good jeer, but full on nudity is completely unnecessary and I wouldn't want it either (though it does happen).
I do understand how some people see it as a set back, and with some ways some people act, yes it really can be. It's on a thin line and, atm, it's alright.

123cologneify 6 months ago
@123cologneify I thought the pride event was for everyone under the LGBT umbrella so to speak, not just gays
kablamo9999 6 months ago
@123cologneify It doesn't happen here, actually, so thanks for letting me know.
My parades always started out with a reminder of respect, and a reminder that we were all once and/or still being discriminated against, and none of us should wish such emotions upon another.
I guess it's just sort of a sad thing that this is happening in other places :\
pokeeuge 6 months ago
@123cologneify There are transphobic homosexuals because some homosexuals are hypocrites.I don't like calling it "Gay Pride Parades" or "Gay Pride Month".It should be called "LGBT Pride Month". Because homosexuals aren't the only non-heterosexuals that exist on this planet.
tripeandbean 6 months ago
@tripeandbean I guess similar to the homosexuals who dislike bisexuals.
Honestly, idiots exist in every way/shape/form... it saddens me; however, when given such experiences in life that people can't learn from them.
pokeeuge 6 months ago
@pokeeuge Exactly! When I hear a homosexual say "I don't like bisexuals" or "I don't transexuals" I'm like "Are you out of your BLASTED mind?". The only difference between the heteros who don't like bi and trans people and the homos who don't like bi and trans people is that the homos can't use the Bible to back up their ignorance like the heteros do because the Bible Boat sailed for them a LONG time ago.
tripeandbean 6 months ago

FUNNYMONEYKID10 6 months ago
@FUNNYMONEYKID10 Very true.
It was a good start :]
pokeeuge 6 months ago
The way I see things...pride is wrong.
I'm black...I'm not proud to be black...I was never given a choice. How could I be proud of something that wasn't the work of my own hand. I'm happy to be who I am and I think it's far better to be happy than proud.

Nothing wrong with self pride, makes you stronger and happier with yourself.
Also I don't see harm in pride when they don't use there pride as another form of discrimination.
I'm pretty sure straight people can join the gay pride parade, since supporters are always welcome.
However most people, including me, are a bit scared to join or they think it's all a tad extreme.

@saquist Damn Straight. (LOL) I think when have a gatering of any groep, that's different then the majority, you set yourself appart from the majority.
You dont have to be proud of what given to you by nature.
Be proud of what you have acceived or who you are.
sticky170 6 months ago
@saquist Obviously the "pride" is a reaction. You have enough idiots telling you that "blackness" is negative and some people want to make a positive stance. Obviously, your TRUE pride is in what you do, not who society thinks you are, My favorite lesbian is Irshad Manji, a person who risks her life on a daily basis to provide an alternative against radical ISLAM but who also caused youth to be politically informed. I saw her live once, despite fear of terrorist intervention.
truevoiceofsanity 6 months ago
@truevoiceofsanity I don't identify myself as "black". It's not my most outstanding quality. I'm an artist, thinker and draftsman. Black just comes along for the ride. Pride is not useful to me... I see "pride" all the time and it always leads to awful things...it's never controlled and comes off like gloating..
saquist 6 months ago
@saquist I know and I fully understand. I'm a Taoist. I sometimes feel sad when people are "boxed in" to live for their label. Your blackness or blackitude is useful if you are in the sun. Other than that, its really a label. Artists are cool. I like artists. I'll glad join the artistic pride parade? When is it coming around. My point was the "pride" is a valid reaction; I never said it was the only one.
truevoiceofsanity 6 months ago
@saquist Aw man you just ruined one of my upcoming videos. LOLjk, but I completely agree.
I'm not proud to be gay either. It has never helped me in whatever I did/am trying to achieve, and it continues being nothing more than just a mere statement of a part of my life, just as much so as my hair is brown right now.
I guess what I wanted to word was that, when you go through years of being told to be ashamed, being told to have pride in simply who you are helps some people.
pokeeuge 6 months ago
@pokeeuge You should still do it. Express it in a way that I have not. I'm sure you have other thoughts on the subject.
I understand why PRIDE is being used in this way...yet it seems reckless. Blacks took it too far. Originally it wasn't Pride Parades...it was marching for FREEDOM. These parades are more about flaunting the freedom not about attaining it. Instead of respectful demonstration, we have lude behavior and partying. It's not something that has dignity and respect. Hmmm
saquist 6 months ago
@saquist I'm all for proper pride, not pomposity, but true pride in something that one has worked for. Not something like being a certain race or something that never helped with anything. I just have more of a problem with people who think that, because I'm not proud of being gay, I'm automatically ashamed. Which makes no sense.
Think about it this way, if you worked REALLY hard to get this new job or something, wouldn't you want to ask your friends out for a dinner in celebration of that?
pokeeuge 6 months ago
@pokeeuge You're right.
saquist 6 months ago
@saquist Everyone is different in their forms of celebration, but I don't think you understand the severity of what a person goes through emotionally when they are told to always be ashamed of themselves; that being themselves will thus prevent you from having certain rights. Knowing that we have support is enough for a victory cheer.
Elaborate on what you deem as "lude"; and as for partying, I'll refer to how I don't think you realize what a closeted person goes through mentally/emotionally.
pokeeuge 6 months ago
@pokeeuge To put it all up front. I don't support homosexuality. I don't think it's equal rights but additional. I also don't support hate against the group. Nor do I support lobbying against it or legislature against because it's a moral issue we decide individually.
I went through about 10 years of my life where I thought I was gay. I understand what some go through. ( to a degree) Then again sex means more to most people than it does to me. Regardless, I think I understand.
saquist 6 months ago
@saquist "I don't support homosexualtiy."
Like it's a political group?!
I never choose to be like this, it's like saying I don't support Asians.
Your (future) kids could very well turn out gay.
You don't support your kids?
MrHankeyy 6 months ago
@MrHankeyy I always call it like it is. it's not like a racial group. People are spinning it that way but it's not the same. It's a social group. This is political and I really don't care for the political spin in the media or the party lines. but that souldn't make a difference in legislature. It's a group and it's should be represented nontheless and not repressed.
saquist 6 months ago
Cont. Even if my children are gay, they'll know that I don't approve. But my kids won't be like everyone else. They'll be trained to make there own decisions. They'll know their father has no desire to control their life. My kids will be independent thinkers. The media won't control how they reason and neither will conservative hardliners. They'll understand EXACTLY why I don't approve, they'll accept it and I'll accept them and life will go on.
saquist 6 months ago
@saquist If I could choose to be straight I would, but unfortunately that's not possible.
So I quit blaming myself and came out of the closet.
However I do not support any political group here in Belgium.
You keep talking how the media is the blame for homosexuality.
I see you are an open minded person, so what if I told you if this whole State and Economy is all a way to control the masses.
While in reality money has no value, people work there ass off for lazy rich people.
See Afrika, China,..
MrHankeyy 6 months ago
@MrHankeyy It's NOT wrong that the media tells us that it's okay to be gay. It's wrong that the media tells us that we have no choice. More than likely you could chose, Psychology though says it's unlikely you will. Memory is the biggest barrier to making that choice. There is only a small percentage of people that hormonally inclined to be gay or lesbian. That's why being gay is part of social group not racial group. And that's okay. It still needs to be represented as minority group
saquist 6 months ago
@saquist I also believe you're missing the point in homosexuality. You have no choice in who you love, you simply have a choice in acting upon that love.
Even if you choose to not flirt with a guy or date a guy, doesn't make you heterosexual because you still have feelings that define homosexuality.
pokeeuge 6 months ago
It confuses the issue immensely,
saquist 6 months ago
cont. that's why the whole gay pride parade is so pertinent. I could see my kids joining this parade...but they would be the only ones there proud of what they did...because they knew they made a choice and their proud of it. But the majority of gay and lesbian believe they have no choice...and just like blacks and other racial groups they believe having no choice is something to be proud of....
saquist 6 months ago
@saquist I don't think you much understand the pride that's being the parade.
It's what we fought for within the topic of homosexuality which makes us proud.
Why does my art teacher march in the parade? Because he's proud to have stood up for him and his spouse, proud to have fought for his happy life and proud to stand up for equality within the educational system and life in general.
This pride comes from things most homosexuals go through, not from simply being gay or "having no choice".

But I can recognize love in its many forms. Love between friends, parents, relatives, siblings, God, lovers, sentimental objects and the list goes on.
I would say that love in itself is romantic on its own, even fantastical, but it's the little bit of magic that's left in the world.

truevoiceofsanity 6 months ago
Cont. I can't emphasize enough whether black or gay, the need for balance. Balance who are. "Nothing in excess everything in moderation" A parade is never going to be the same as finding the courage to stand up for yourself and who your are....and I think more importantly standing up for others and not just standing by while others suffer and are repressed too.
saquist 6 months ago
@saquist Whatever you feel about homosexuality is fine, as long as you don't purposely go out of your way to ruin someone's day. I'm all for tolerance and highly respect that.
And you're right, I've been to 4 parades in my life, still haven't gotten the courage to tell my parents straight up about myself (especially after something that happened in my life too). But I can remember, the first time I went to a parade with my best friend (who was also gay), me and her were shocked at how many...
pokeeuge 6 months ago
@saquist people were actually there. How much support there was for people like us. It didn't give us courage, no, but it gave us something else - a sense of acceptance. That we aren't alone. Maybe it doesn't give me courage, but it may have to some other people. But regardless, it has been a positive point for the most part.
And could you elaborate on your last sentence? I'm not sure if I'm understanding it correctly... are you stating that we should help others instead of just gays? Or...
pokeeuge 6 months ago
@pokeeuge Find the courage pokeeuge. This last year I did something that I didn't think I had the courage to do. I just did it and for better or worse I'm glad I did it. Everything's changed now but I like being up front than hiding what I did.
My last statement was just saying ...don't standby while others are repress no matter who or what they are. Doing that...will give you the courage to stand up for yourself more than any parade could.
saquist 6 months ago
@saquist I'll just simply state that something has happened in my life before which would need more courage than I can find at the moment to do what I need to do.
A single person can only do so much, and simply for people they already know. I sure didn't know there were so many homosexuals in my city, or supporters. I can help all my friends, yes, but if I wanted to help more, a public statement could work too, hence the parade. Parade doesn't give much, but it's still something.
pokeeuge 6 months ago
@pokeeuge Brown hair is so boring; blue streaks would be a lot cooler!!! Being supportive to those who need said support in a positive way and hopefully having fun, is always a good thing. A talked to a girl at Laura Secord with a tattoo on her ear with two female signs on it. I thought that was an interesting way to come out.
truevoiceofsanity 6 months ago
xD I agree with you on every level. Thing is I HATE pride parades. Not for the fact that homosexual people are in them and fighting for rights, but sometimes people get a liiiiiittle too tipsy, and the things that heterosexual people "strongly dislike" about homosexuals commences.
TheDuskPhantom 6 months ago
Oh a recent video on my favourites is about the same subject.
What I want to add, you know the "it gets better" campaign,
It's a campaign to give gay teens hope (so they don't kill themselves).
People should work more on society itself, so the closet homosexuals don't get all this extra weight on there shoulders.
Currently gays are mocked with quite a bit, in a casual "funny" way.
Fine with secure people, however closet homosexuals get extra confused and/or don't want to come out any more.

This is so inspiring I almost wish I was gay and in the closet just so I could come out and be proud.
Gonna go look some pictures of dicks. Who knows. Maybe I am gay.
Let's find out!

He laughed. ;).
