  • Would you recommend creatine and whey? im 17 and weight 135 pounds

  • @MrEddiecochran - yes I certainly would take it but in moderation. Do not overdo anything. Baz

  • anyway, thanks for the vids, please keep them coming, im learning alot from you and once i know everything i need to know, im gonna start training, did you say you have 3 protein drinks instead of 3 meals a day so you count 3 protein drinks as 3 meals? and then you have another 3 meals like tuna, pasta etc and you add an egg to it to make sure you get the right amount of protein, do you get carbs out of a shake though? or do you just eat something with it like some brown rice

  • cheers baz, ive decided if my dad cant get into shape im going to and hopefully it will encourage him as well and ill be using your vids to help, ive already learnt about nutrition from your vid, about good proteins like tuna, cottage cheese low fat of course and carbs brown rice, oats in the morning with some scrambled egg on toast lol without the yellow of course, ive also got some whey protein which i blend into a milkshake, quite nice matrix whey protein it is

  • @Brady2k10 - I would start and learn as you go. You have the basics and you will have to make adjustments to suit you. We are all different so it does involve some trial and error. Good luck with it and I hope your dad does join you in the training. Baz

  • Keep it up buddy. Some sound advice and good research done before hand. Great to hear people know what there talking about.

  • @ThinkBIG287 - thanks very much. A lot of what we do in life is common sense and if you give some thought to what you want to do you will find you have a lot of the answers in you. Baz

  • awesome man thank you , nice body ^_^

  • @oooliano - thanks very much that is nice of you to say. Baz

  • The dog does the training too , brilliant !

  • @alanIreland3000 - yes no one is allowed to be lazy in this house. lol Baz

  • Thanks a lot, you are the best at this :)

  • @PeanutDopey - thanks so much that is very kind. Baz

  • thanks Al Pacino!

  • @Mr46674 - cheers lol Baz

  • My formula this spring and summer has been: eat small amounts of healthy, homemade food; eat right before my weights workout to fuel my lifts; do not eat after weights, to let the muscle tissue burn the fat; replace certain foods for less-caloric ones; and walk at least one hour per day. I feel that because of eating less, & the weight training, was what led me to losing 30 pounds this year. My muscles have gained some size, but not much. At this point, I want to get rid of the lard.

  • @andrjsh - you have done very well. That is a great way you are doing it. I would not lose too quick though. It is often better to lose slighty slower so your body adjusts easily and make it feel more normal. Baz

  • @BazBlog Once again, thanks, Baz.

  • @andrjsh - pleasure mate. Baz

  • Is this something I can do everyday or should I only do it a couple times a week?

  • @DxExX - if you have lots of weight to lose or want to get really fit then you can do it every day. Just make sure you eat right. Baz

  • Hi Baz

I've read from various sources that people with stress in their daily lives struggle to lose belly fat. What is your view on this?

  • @MrTrangy - That could be. If you do exercise it is one of the best stress relievers known. I then do not really think people training will have this problem. I still think the biggest problem is the amount and type of food people eat. Baz

  • you definitely know what you're talking about ;)

  • @alek42sd - thanks very much. I hope it will help you. Baz

  • Great work sir

  • @sagooinmelb - thank you so much. Baz

  • Hi there, im 15 years old, 180cm/ 5'10, 68 kilo's and im not fat but not skinny. I want to get strong and 'ripped' i guess. Does any of this change between age? Im also trying to work on other muscles like biceps, triceps and lats. Is it ok to do both of these things? How often should i be doing workouts as well, everyday doing both or alternate or what. Thanks for the video

  • @XSniperShooterX - I will send you a plan and that will help you to achieve all that you want. Baz

  • @BazBlog Thanks so much.

  • @XSniperShooterX - pleasure my friend. Baz

  • @BazBlog hey baz i lost 6 kgs in my first month through 45 mins of cardio 6 days a week and iv'e just recently started weight training mayb 3 days since ive started weights, so is 6 kgs a month safe? thanks :)

  • @wellslowly22 - that is quite a bit but not if you are fairly overweight. I have done that in the past but you will find that if you are weight training you will build muscle while you lose fat so you will not lose so much weight. You will change shape and size though. You must remember that 1lb of fat is 3 times bigger then 1 lb of muscle. Baz

  • @BazBlog thanks :)

  • @wellslowly22 - Pleasure. Baz

  • Hi thanks for that

  • @Jackupnow - no problem and good luck with it. Baz

  • Hi baz I mean let's say breakfast might have a coffee bacon and eggs or just a apple how important is drinking water to help in losing fat, ? Thanks

  • @Jackupnow - all meals must have protein and carbs. Limit fat but do not exclude it. Water is so important as 80% of our body is water. It helps all the organs to work properly. Baz

  • What do you call small?

  • @Jackupnow - I am not sure in what context you mean. Small is small and big is big I guess. Let me know in what context you mean and I will try to explain. Baz

  • Good

  • @Jackupnow - thanks. Baz

  • Oh hey! Have you thought about intellectus 424 diet (do a search on google)? Ive heard some great things about it and my sister lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • @nafijaislam1991 - There are many things that work. I am not really too much in favour of diets as most people eventually put on what they lost with interest. If you do it with some good exercise and 6 small meals a day you will lose the fat and look fantastic too. Baz

  • thanks baz the only thinl stopping me from lookin good is my stomach the rest is good thanks fro the help and also thanks for pvt tips alwell

  • @bossmanblaine1 - that is good to hear. I too have only the stomach as a problem. It is really down to your diet. I eat too much that is it plain and simple. Baz

  • When i first subscribed to Mr. Baz he said thanks unlike most others!

  • @Lensmass - That is because I really do value your support. Baz

  • @BazBlog

    Thanks, will do!

I'm going out of town for a while though, so I won't have any time for shopping. (or money after the trip is over lol)

I'm actually leaving tomorrow morning (it's 10:30PM here)

  • @JakeLWright - Good luck with your trip I hope you enjoy it. Baz

  • @BazBlog

    Thanks for all the help!

    I'm in mid-southern U.S. so I guess I'll check eBay.

  • @JakeLWright - Yes you should get a good one on there. If you need more help let me know. Baz

  • Bikes are a great exercise for your heart. (correct?)

    Short story time:

I was riding 3 and 1/2 hours a day (at max speed/gear aka max resistance) on a bike, however I just moves and in my new neighborhood everyone drives like a maniac.

    Back onto subject:

Anyone have an idea where I could get a cheap stationary bike?

  • @JakeLWright - yes they are great for cardio and overall fitness. Depending on the country you live in here in the UK we have a shop called Argos which has some great deals on stationary bikes. I would also have a look on E Bay. Baz

  • Thank you very very much Baz :)

  • @Az00z09090 - pleasure my friend. Baz

  • Hi i also subbed this is very great channel you have im 21 and finally i started to workout 2 weeks ago

  • @Estmusic323 - thanks so much for the sub. I hope you will get some great results. Thanks for the very nice compliment. Baz

  • Thumbs up! Subscribed - very informative (and free). :D

  • @TBaker1964 - thanks very much for the sub and glad you enjoy the vids. Baz

  • @TBaker1964 Basil is Awesome!

  • @jasjotsingh44 - thanks very much. Baz

  • Wanted to say thank you for the note that you sent me. For about 2 months now I have been riding my bike outside and just this past month started walking along with my bike riding. 2 mile walk for an hour followed immediately by 3 mile bike ride for 30 min. With the spring time upon us here in the USA it is getting warmer and I am sweating more. The terrain is mostly flat with a slight hill in places. I walk around the block so it comes and goes as far as working hard and then having it easy. TY

  • @konkretegeek - gee that is quite a bit of aerobic exercise you are doing. I guess if you are overweight and wanting to lose weight that would be quite a good way so long as you are careful how much you eat. If you do not have the time then this idea in the video is the fastest way to burn fat in 20 minutes. Baz

  • I love your videos Baz. Its hard to find such informative tips these days. Especially for free. Just wanted to say from personal experience that your videos are helping people! Thanks bud

  • @WlSEGUY - that is a really nice compliment and I appreciate you support. Thank you. Baz

  • can i run instead of siting on the bike???

  • @aaalla49 - yes you certainly can. You can do any kind of aerobics. It is the interval system that is the best fat burn way. Baz

  • I got stretch marks on the in-side of my elbow, on the inner side of my biceps, and on my shoulders due to weight training i did 4 years ago. recently, ive started the weight training again. i just wanted to know, what is the best way to reduce the stretch marks? does anyone have any tips?

  • @45ingh - unfortunately there is nothing really you can do. It pays to lose and gain weight slowly. You can try some vitiman E oil. That does help a little with the elasticity of the skin. Get a great tan that is what my son has done. Baz

  • @BazBlog thanks Baz. you're a legend!

another problem i have is that my left arm is considerably smaller than my right. its both bicep and tricep. but the bicep is more noticeable. there's about an inch difference. what is the best method to even the two arms out? because ive heard so much rubbish about this and it's hard to believe the internet. so it's best i hear it from you lol. so have you got any tips in sorting that out? and how long will it roughly take?

    thanks in advance.

    Aj

  • @45ingh - Thanks very much for the compliment. I would try the following. I would train with dumbbells one arm at a time. I would go quite light with the big arm so it stays in shape and as heavy as I can with the thinner arm. This way it will have to adapt to the extra weight and grow. It should take about 2/3 months and they should match. I did this with my shoulder after an operation and it worked for me. Baz

  • @BazBlog thanks Baz. you are a legend.

i will try this and let you know how it goes. all your video's are good. and keep up the good work Baz (y)

  • @45ingh - cheers mate that is very kind of you to say. Baz

  • Hey baz great video very informative thank you.I have masterd how to lose weight, the only problem is Im so bored of my workouts. That now a days I just cant be asked to workout. Can you please give me some advice, and also you said that you train on the bike for 20min. Can you tell me what sort of speed or intensity I should have my bike set at. Thank you

  • @MrMagicman786 - food is the biggest problem. The fact that you have that right is a big plus. I will send you some training info that hopefully will get you back into training regular. Baz

  • yo man can i do that exercise every day=???

  • @aaalla49 - yes you can. Make sure you are eating right though as there is a fine line for you to burn fat for fuel or to use muscle for fuel. Some people cut right back on the food and then lose some fat but a lot of muscle size too. If you do it right you will continue to gain muscle and burn off the fat. Have a look at the nutrition video. Baz

  • @aaalla49 - yes you certainly can just make sure you are eating right. You do not want to burn muscle for fuel. Baz

  • Hey Baz, im really fat and out of shape, i have no idea where to start or what kind of diet to do. Any suggestions?

  • @cmshort11 - I will send you some info that I used and still use from time to time. Baz

  • @BazBlog can you send it to me too?

  • @polipoli7 - Sure I will send you some info. Baz

  • @BazBlog can you send me too please :)

  • @muzondiwa - Yes I will send you some info. Baz

  • @BazBlog can you send it to me three? lol

  • @FahadOrfali1993 - sure I will send you some info. Baz

  • So, 6 meals per day, 4 sets per day, 4 times puking= 2meals? :P Just kidding, good job m8

  • @samuils - lol. Thanks. Baz

  • Hey baz, i was wondering if you had any training plans for me?

i need to seriously loose weight and body fat,

    thanks,

    jordan

  • @AmPMarksmen - yes no problem I will send you some ideas. Baz

  • heyyy baz this is somfink thats been reli bovering me,a couple of weeks back i done a test in the gym and it turns out im 6ft7 and i have 16.2% body fat now what im wondering is would it be okay for somone my height to go to about 10% body fat cause i mainly wanna bulk up but id rather do it with less body fat on me if theres anythink you think that could help id highly ipreciate it

  • @fshfrghedht64 - your certainly can go to 10% body fat for a male. I will send you a training plan that can help you to achieve that. Baz

  • @BazBlog thanks for that baz considering that i am 16.2% body fat do you recon i should maybe just start from there and gain some weight or do you recon i should loose the fat and then bulk up im just tryna look for other options but i will use that program you done which will help alot

  • @fshfrghedht64 - the plan I sent you will help you to lose the body fat while you build lean muscle. I did the plan and went from a 39.5" waist to 33" in 120 days. It works. Baz

  • Hi Baz I've seen many of your videos, like me your love home workouts. Your Advice is spot on, I hope to be as big as you in regards to how you put your wisdom across with your training ideas. Please feel free to come along my page pal. Keep the good work up. WOW WE TRAIN EVERY ALIKE JUST LISTENED TO HOW YOU DO THE BIKE... I start lowe then every minute add it up a level. great work.

  • @Homeworkoutsnofuss - that is fantastic to know. Thanks very much for the compliment and I will have a look at your site. I am sure if you eat right and keep training you will be my size and bigger. Baz

  • hi baz. When trying to get muscle (or bulk up as bodybuilders say) how much cardio is needed?

  • @RompYa - I think it is good to do a bit of aerobics. You might not want to do too much if you are very active like playing a sport. Most big bodybuilders only do that. If I did other sport then I probably would not do any aerobics. Baz

  • are you kiwi bazza?

  • @BJs4MePlz - no my friend I am a Zimbo. (From Zimbabwe). Baz

  • You`re the man Baz!:)

  • @ChainBreaker01 - thanks you so much. Baz

  • 3:57 OWNED! "Ehehe I'm actually going to be the cameraman cuz my wife is a bit short." I LOVE humorous spats between husbands and wives. I know Baz was trying not to laugh at her LOL

Thank you that made my day.

  • @aaronscrewme - I have a fantastic wife so we can say anything to each other without taking offence. We also have a lot of laughs. Baz

  • @GlasgowRangers2009 - thanks very much for the compliment and for the sub. Baz

  • hi baz my names keith im from australia i just wont to say thank you so much with all the help u have gave me i play rugby im 110kg but wont to lose 10kg ive wanted to do a bit of bodybuilding just to get fit for my next year of rugby Baz thanks again KEITH

  • @lawsokeith89 - that is fantastic. I am a massive rugby fan. I hope to see your name in headlights for the Wallabies in the near future. You will need to build strength my friend. Good luck with it. Baz

  • @lawsokeith89 just so you know lifting weights doesnt help with keeping running fit, so if you want to be running fit go for a run everymorning (get your metabolism going fastter for the entire day) then go to gym in the after.

  • @adambarbaro1 - that is absolutely correct. Great advice. Baz

  • hey great video. i do weights just to get fit! not massive. i have fat on my stomach and got a set of man boobs that are not that bid but are still something im self conscious about. i dont have a treadmill or anything like that so im really thinking about the path of the wind jammers i think you called it. could you explain it more please.

  • @stip27 - You can get a good looking body with doing light weights with lots of reps. That will help to remove a lot of the body fat. How you eat is the key though. You can do this type of fat burn with any aerobic training. If you do not have machines you can walk, jog, sprint on the road or park and that is the same as on a treadmill. I have quite a bit of extra information on my new site w's.buildingmuscles.co Baz

  • Great to hear you'r accent while I'm sitting here in USA even tho it's not South African, It sounds the same

  • @GrappyFlappy - I hope you are enjoying the USA. I think it is a great place and often think I would have liked to have lived there. It is always nice to hear a familiar sound no matter where you are. I work with a few South Africans here in the UK and it is quite nice. Not that the English people are not great my wife is one. lol Baz

  • I'd love to see you training with your dog

  • @CIarKent - yes that would be quite something. Baz

  • BazBlog

is it advisable to do intense aerobics along with weight lifting?

or should i weight train first then aerobics after i've gained mass in order to build the muscles?

by the way, i had no idea you're 59, you look fantastic for someone who could be my grandfather

  • @foul01 - yes if you want to burn fat. If you want to build and you do not have much fat you need to do aerobics only once or twice a week. Make sure you are eating right too. Thanks a ton for the compliment. Baz

  • hey baz. your videos are great and highly motivating!

what you're practising in this video sounds like intverall training. do you know the "high intensity intervall training" method ("HITT")? it's the most effective and most insane method for catapulting the body into fatburning mode. not the healthiest thing though

  • @mne231 - thanks very much for the compliment. Yes I know of the system HITT. It is not my favourite way of training but I do believe people have seen changes as they have lost a lot of weight with it. I am not in favour of losing or gaining weight too quick. I agree with you as I do not think it is the healthiest way of doing it. Thanks a lot for your support. Baz

  • Put the captions on and listen to this, so funny!

  • @d4nnydud3122 - I have never tried that before. Baz

  • Simple solution for dog walking

  • @destroyerdan9 - absolutely. I think in fairness to the dog it does need to get out a bit too quite often. Baz

  • I have been training for almost a month now using most of the techniques in your videos and eating a high protein diet. It has had amazing results. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.

    Best regards, Snuggleproof.

  • @SNUGGLEPROOF - that is such wonderful feed back. Thanks a million for sharing that with us and the best of luck with your future training. Well done my friend. Baz

  • @SNUGGLEPROOF Put up a video yourself! ;D

  • Is the pump necessary for growth?

  • @umyafzal - it will be automatic when you are training for growth. It just means that the blood it going into the muscle to supply oxygen etc. so you can keep pushing it. Baz

  • Hey Baz,

So this is going to sound kind of pathetic but here it is. I was workin out my pectorals the other day and i noticed that one of my pectorals is larger than the other. Can you help me? Thanks and keep up the great videos!

  • @Dozer12221 - loads of people have this problem. We are all are slightly bigger one side than the other. I would not focus too much on it or mentally you will make it seem worse. If it is really noticeable then use dumbbells and go heavier on the smaller side and lighter on the big side. If you do this for a little while you should get them to balance out. If you hardly notice it just ignore it and keep training properly and they should balance. Baz

  • @BazBlog Alright thanks Baz. Keep Up the Great Videos!

  • @Dozer12221 - Pleasure my friend and thank you. Baz

  • @Dozer12221 Same goes for me! :O they are about the same size but they have a bit different shape :(

  • Hi Baz

how many days should i upper body weight train a week, to allow the fibres to repair ?

  • @IxAMxM4TTY - many people only train once a week but I prefer 2 times. Any more than that and you are not giving the muscle enough time. Baz

  • Baz

how do you know when your muscle tissue tear?

  • @uaj7 - it is that slight stiff feeling you have the 2nd day after training. Remember it is micro tears so very small. It is not easy to notice it and you have to put in a really hard training. Baz

  • baz im thinking about getting an exercise bike as its coming into the winter and dont fancy jogging in the dark and cold and rain lol.. do you recomend these bikes for cardio or maybe a cross trainer?

  • @macgiver351 - yes it is much nicer to be in the warm and light when you train. I personally like a bike. I think they are great. You must get what you think will do the best for you. I know a lot of people like a x trainer. My one son does. Baz

  • your welcome baz. It's great that people like are sharing your knowledge with the rest of us. Cheers!!!

  • @narutohearts99 - thanks very much and it is a nice feeling to know you might have helped a few people. Baz

  • I am so happy I found you!

  • @Tolerville372 - wow that is a very nice thing to say. Thank you. Baz

  • hey baz why haven't u posted anything new?

  • @belthazormn1 - I have had a lot of back problems from being blown up in a landmine in the Rhodesian conflict many years ago and it plays up now and again. I am getting back on track again now. So should be doing one quite soon. Baz

  • @BazBlog you were blown up in a landmine?!?!

  • Baz if we go by the notion of "a bigger muscle is a stronger muscle" then how do we explain the phenomenon known as Bruce Lee. Physically I would say he looks damn right skinny, yet he achieves such amazing physical feats. Would you be able to clear this up for me? Because I have a similar build to him, but I would like to hope I could bulk up to a size bigger than him

  • @Tautologically - he was very strong for his size. He was also a master of mind contol and being able to focus all of his size through a point which is what martial artists do. As for lifting what a much bigger person can do he would not have that kind of strength. Baz

  • @BazBlog - Hmm lifting what a much bigger person can do, I'm not so sure about that. I heard he could hold a 36kg dumbbell with one hand flush out infront of him. That is AMAZING strength. But then again, there is no actual proof I guess.
