The negative reactions here make me kind of sad! Ellen tried to show a piece of her Nina Hagen, and she knows it is nowhere near the real Nina. In stead of what people think: that she is making fun of Nina; she is not! She is making fun of herself!

@NickEmpel : there are always people who need something to be negative about... Nina is amazing and so is Ellen: they are both unique in their performance and great singers. You are totally right: she is paying tribute tribute to Nina in her own way, not doing some desperate attempt to copy her.

Ouch, that indeed was painful to watch. That more that once proves that Nina is in a class of her own, can actually sing (after all, she had a classical vocal education) and just putting on a nice outfit and pulling weird faces doesn't cut it. And maybe it is just me, but if I would embark on something like this, I would check my text and pronunciation.

I visited the show of Ellen last 28th. It was great but what happened during the break.A woman, opposite of Ellen being tall, red-hair and very sexy performed her version of the Nina Hagen song Weiblich. She did it for only half a minute and then left to the backdoor.What a voice what a mind-blowing moves. She was tempting all the way. Sorry Ellen but that was what you would call a performance.But Ive lost her. I would like to see her again..Im in love and I blame it on the girl.
