  • Coffee rocks! Right now i got a nice black coffee with some sugar there in front of me.

As long as you keep in the limits you are good.

To be honest right now i do nor feel like giving up coffee. It keeps me running. That coffee that you describe sounds great but a bit too sweet for me.

Energy drinks suck. Coffee is the way to for me.

i can not live without coffee.

  • @TheBernhard88 Totally agree as long as its in moderation. Once you learn to love black coffee that's when you become a true coffee drinker lol.

  • btw I have marks around my eyes (you know around the outside of my nose) that are very dark and blue. Coffee related? I noticed over time they really show up when I feel bad or haven't eaten in a while. (Like when I totally binged on sweet stuff and haven't eaten any real food lol.) My skin isn't really oily at all and I have generally cool skin (ice cold hands.) Which my brother is really jealouse of because he has very warm skin all the time and has to have the fan constantly on. Poor guy. ;-D

  • When I don't really care about flavoring and just want extra energy (which is quite often) I usually will just drink it black with no sugar or anything. I've loved coffee since I was about eleven maybe ten years old. I don't have an extreme addiction though thank goodness. :)

  • I'm sorry, I don't know your name, but you have no idea of what you are talking about. Do your research, Harvard medical has, it differs on about all of your points except two. What you were addicted and add the pounds and made your skin look unhealthy was the 3 or 4 tea spoons of sugar, the milk chocolate and the syrup which is loaded with corn fructose. 300mg of caffeine is harmless, do your homework girl, you're destroying your creditability...b

  • I want to quit cold turkey. You're right going off slower is torture because your constantly surrounding yourself with it.

  • I used to drink multiple cups of coffee on a daily basis. Then I got into daily hot yoga practice, and coffee eventually phased out because of increased sensitivity to the acidity. I've pretty much been off coffee for 3-4 weeks (though I did have a cup today), replacing it with tea. Mostly green, some black. I feel much healthier, even though I haven't waned off of caffeine. It IS possible to quit coffee. Will power and habit.

Thank you for sharing this and other videos. :)

  • I wanna be a hot man!

Drinking MATE tea to wind down helped me out. And then down to Green tea.

  • I wanna be a hot man!

  • I'm a hot man!

  • get to goddamn point!

  • Coffee is bad... I stopped drinking it last week and now I have headaches everyday

  • What is your opinion of green tea is it good or bad?

  • To get rid of a migraine headache take a good hot bath with one cup of Braggs apple cider vinegar. This is the best way I have found to get rid of a migraine headache. I have suffered from them since I was a teenager. I am now fifty one years old. Finally I found a remedy and it is natural!

  • You've been everywhere apparently

You're an extremist which is why you're slightly insane and into this raw thing, this isn't balance this is being crazy, If I was your therapist I wouldn't be taking notes, i would be effusively pressing the button under my desk

  • I thought you were a vegan before you went raw, but you said you were drinking coffee with cream for a decade. Were you ever at a really unhealthy weight?

  • Getting off caffeine was miserable for me but I'm so glad that I did. I hated having to depend on a substance to keep me awake and energized.

  • I have really struggled with caffeine addiction. Thanks for this post! I like the insight about green tea - I am currently drinking white tea right now (after transitioning from coffee to black tea to white chinese tea) and I was getting hung up on this last step. Glad to know it won't be as hard! The MOST important thing, is once you get 90 days or so (yes, I am working this like a REAL addiction) it is important to stay quit and not just 'have a little', which always gets me back on the wagon

  • why is it she makes me want to say " totally" in valley girl tones ?

  • Comment removed

  • omg i started laughing so hard when you said the ice coffee milkshake. I know what your taking about. i used to drink 2 a day as well!! Me and my friend were obsessed. We wondered if we would be 40 and still drinking them lol. I just recently quit coffee totally. I didn't even think about it just looked at my coffee one morning and said eww. I never want that ever again! And MY SKIN! My skin has cleared up completely I used to break out once a day now nothing! Love your videos!!!

  • yeah coffee coolata they are really good, I think you you should go get one right now. Hazelnut flavored would be nice, maybe some whip cream on top, mmmm. LOL

    just kidding

  • Great video, Natasha. Thanks for the info. Now, I may be out of the loop because I'm 60 years old, dear, but what is "rock-a-cow"? I've never hear of it. I drink too much coffee for my own good anyway so any substitute is welcomed. You give great and useful health advice, I hope your audience takes advantage of it.

  • @jav422 She is saying "raw cacao", not "rock-a-cow". Hope that helps answer your question!

  • I started letting go of coffeee yesterday.

I am excited at the thought of being healthy and feel so much better.

I have been drinking coffee since four and I am now 49.

  • I was just wandering what about tea (herbal teas) on the raw food diet

  • i got off of coffee with green tea not long ago. now i'm drinking peppermint tea instead of green tea. i find that going outside and breathing in air, like you mentioned in another video really wakes you up and makes you feel good. still have to have a nap though(won't get to when i go back to work)!

  • That is my tactic!! I'm surprised you said that, I thought you were going to recommend phet or something ;)

  • A good motivator to stop coffee.

    Unregulated pesticides/fungicides:

Aldrin. Dieldrin, chlordane, heptaclor, endosultan, chorpyrifos, diazinon, disulfotoon, methyl parathione, triadimeton, ,cypermethrin.

    Think pancreatic cancer and leukimia.

  • hey natasha whats raw ka kow ?

  • I'm on that route with the Dunkin Donuts coffees Natasha

  • I gave up coffee 5 years ago and replaced it with green tea chai, xylitol and almond milk and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

    Yup, coffee is bad :-)

  • awesome!!! :)

  • I am eating a lot healthier than years gone by but still struggling to give up my coffee so I have saved this video for future reference. It is definitely a crutch and something that calls to me whenever I am out with girlfriends. Wish it wasn't everywhere we turn.

Thanks for all your You Tube videos. Love the way you share (and shine :-)

  • Awesome!! yes, socially coffee is a difficult one to give up, I totally understand. What about having a tea when you meet up for the coffeee? Or go to a juice bar instead!!!!! That can help!! I drag my friends for juices all the time :)

  • My addiction was diet soda (i hate coffee). And I am proud to say I quit soda for 2 months now and dont even miss it. I have even tried it since and it dont taste good any longer. Thanks 4 this video. Peace.

  • You should be soooo proud of yourself. Especially because the diet soda is full of VERY addictive chemicals and sweeteners as well. Amazing how when we are in the middle of an addiction it's so overwhelming and very scary to let go of, but once we do, we have no urge to go back. :)

  • My sister is tring to stop drinking soda do you have any tips I can pass along to her?

  • Not really, it is just something you have to decide to stop. In my case it became less appealing taste-wise. I think i was addicted to the fizz and not so much the caffiene. I drink tons of water now and carry water with me always.

  • Thats the way to go, carrying the water with you!

  • Great! How about substituting freshly squeezed orange juice for the soda (real & juiced oranges, not bottled orange juice). That, or fruit or green smoothies. The fruit sugars will help her ease off the soda.

  • I find kombucha is a nice substitute for soda. It's not carbonated but naturally effervescent, so you feel like you're drinking a carbonated drink. Plus, it's raw and low in calories.

  • Kefir too is good!!!
