Ummm I just realized that the crashing is caused by you not turning on Bluetooth (atleast for 90% of you).

I'm going to make an educated guess and assume that it is not compatible with 3.0-3.1+ firmware and probably not compatible with the 3gs as the bluetooth chip is a different version than the 3g's own.

Guys, this shit dont work. If finds a phone with enabled bluetooth near you, for example called "cheese" but when you click on the "cheese" it just lights up but doesnt do anything.

How do you mean? The app you get if you jailbreak your iPhone/iPod Touch is "Cydia". So it's a little different. But there is also a program in Cydia to hide icons. So if you dont want to see that your device is jailbroken, you just hide Cydia ;)

It is when you upload custom firmware onto your Ipod/IPhone that gives you Cydia, Cydia gives you alot more customization and freedom. Jailbreaking your device voids your warrenty but you can just restore your ipod, Apple will never know if it was jailbroken.

i know that, im on my 4 ipod touch, 1st wasn't broken (DFU mode), thought it was gave me a new one, 2nd Accelerometer was broken, 3rd power surge. they were all jailbroken and apple gave me new ones everytimg without knowing

hey guyz the app he is using on his pc is called tight vnc google it and down load to pc and then on ur iphone go to cydia and look up and download veency. after that connect to a wifi network locate the ip address and enter it on the tight vnc viewer on ur pc and click accept and u should be able to do it

Try rebooting your device again,

unfortunately I do not think it works on 2.1. You have to upgrade to 2.2 for it to work.
