Only problem with this game, you never get the feeling of being over whelmed when you start to get nervous. The xbox version literally had 30 times more zombies than this version. I've played both. This game is Deadrising on training wheels, but still fun to say the least.

shattered memories was so boring to me. yeah, the graphics are fantastic for a wii game, but the gameplay is just boring.

It seems like it would be scary to be mostly defenseless against the monsters, but you always have somewhere to run, and so you loose that amazing fight or flight feeling that the original had to get your heart pounding.

1. the time limit can be unforgiving for a story mode runthorugh

@BRiTDRAG2 I'd get the xbox version. The save system only uses 1 slot but there's some extra scenes in the game (such as the intro cam mini game that was cut from the Wii version), more zombies, no blocked off areas, and cutscenes are NOT movie files so clothing changes actually show up.

I didn't play my friend's Wii version very much, but from what I can tell it didn't use the normal time set up the original game used either, and the original didn't use a shop. Either way, I'd say 360 version.

The cutscenes are from the 360 version. They are pre-rendered.

Thats why they look good.

Even when you change your clothes, frank wears always the standard clothes in the wii cutscenes, but not in the 360 version because in this version its rendered at the moment it's playing.

My cousin doesn't have a 360, but after seeing me playing DR2, he wants to have DR1 for the wii. I think he should get it, because he's not getting a 360 anytime soon and It's an ok port from what i've heard. I'm planning on getting the 360 version soon, but I think I'll keep that a secret ;)

The cutscenes are different because they are recorded versions of the Xbox 360 version cutscenes. Seeing this was pretty informative, I enjoyed it; the 360 version was definitely better, but I'm still impressed with this port-- it looks like they still basically boiled down the Dead Rising essence to a less powerful platform. Other reviews just paint Frank running around in an empty mall, but I see that there are at least enough zombies to pose a challenge. Thanks.

my god, the game really sucks for wiii, i played the 360 version around 10 times, and the wii version sucks for a simple thing , lack of zombies, God the 360 version have around a 80, maybe 100 zombies at time, make it a very fun and goooooood version, so this game (for wii) is awful, but i think are one of the few good wii games.

And Gizmoo101 is right in the 360 version you can use the camera at anytime.
