Hey Prettydimples, a beautician colored my hair and it has black on the ends and red at the roots. Can I go to Sally's and use a demi? It happened a month ago so should I wait longer to color it and should I do the process of using the aphogee treating before I use the demi? The lady at Sally's said I will take my hair out if I use the demi bc I has peroxide in it, can I use a 10 volume just to turn my hair back black?

Something that is really good for edges, is the olive oil edge control! Works really well, in case you have not used it!

I just started doing my own hair this month and I notice towards the ends of my hair are really dry, hard and frizzy. I used all types of oils, water, and shea butter to soften the ends, but nothing helps. Please help! Thanks in advance.

Although, I am not as brave as you with the hair color because I have had a lot of breakage in the past, when my hair was relaxed,but now that I am all natural, I will stick with black hair to avoid hair breakage.

when you color ur hair black you cannot recolor it. you have grow it out. BUT there is a way around it. Sally Beauty sells this color remover called ZapOut that I used. You put this stuff on your hair, wait, and it removes all the black. It's gonna turn ur hair orange, but you will be able to color it whatever you want right after. its at ur own risk if you choose to remove ur hair color. I've used it & haven't had any major problems but you will definitely have to condition ur hair.

Every time I dye my hair it fades quickly or the color will come out on my pillows. I believe it may be because I wash/condition my hair once a week. The dye I used is Clariol Texture and Tones or Dark and Lovely. Could you suggest maybe another hair dye product I could try that maybe will last longer.

kaysplay- well idon't know the box products well enough. but if the color you are using is a semi then it will come out if you are using permanent then i really don't know what to tell you to buy. like i said im not familiar with the box colors. sorry. :)

I use the edges as well, but I was told not to put anything on my hair except for the edges to lay it down....then you shouldn't get any flaking. I think when you you use it with other products it don't last that long and it flakes.
