@CityFabulous - I don't really like encouraging people to spend more. For me, playing slots is fun enough ... if I walk away with a few hundred, I'm happy! Some people spend too much money ... and they don't need my encouragement. The percentages are a great way to measure a win on relative merits.

@TheShamusOfSlots Very true! I think the percentages are just a pet peeve annoying thing of mine. Not sure why, just bug me lol. I had an amazing night last weekend. Didn't tape a thing, was too tired, but hit $900, $550 and $320 on various penny and nickel slots and $250 on a quarter...I couldn't lose that night. It was crazy.....I'm going to Fallsview tomorrow night so I'll try the mermaid ones again. I had good luck on them the last time betting $1.50 and won $300

That is the best hit I have seen on the Mermaid Gold. We have given it a few tries at Trump Plaza and have had bonuses but that one is great!

Nice win Shamus. Never had luck on Mermaids Gold. I haven't seen this one yet. Interesting about max bet as that is what I play on these. I think 1.80?

@Huss417 - They can be configured differently. However ... the "BEST" play would be to raise the denom to the highest (likely 5-cent) ... and lowered your bet (likely $1.50). In theory, that should offer the best payback percentage. Not a dramatic difference, but anything is a positive.

Veeeery nice! This game DOES NOT like max bet. But, I have seen a lady betting $1.50 hit a big super spin. She had two triples and I think the double bar, of course times 20, for a shade over $650. So I guess the possibility for big hits is there...
