The Suns consisted of Al Nevins (guitar), his brother Morty (on accordion), and their cousin Artie Dunn (organ, vocals). They played together for over 20 years, until Al suffered a series of heart attacks in the early '60s, and concentrated on his music publishing buisness, "Aldon Music" [Don Kirschner was his partner], until his death: it was sold to Screen Gems/Columbia. And yes, 'Muddy', none of them are alive today; Al was the first to go in 1965- Morty in 1990- and finally, Artie in 1996.
