Spinosaur jaws weren't just weaker- they were SO delicately built that it simply would NOT be able to combat large, powerful, thick skinned animals. So weak, in fact, so thin, that they would literally snap if it tried to grapple with a Tyrannosaur. Rex had a massively powerful head and massive neck- even if it was hit first, Spinosaur teet wouldn't do any real damage before it had it's head bitten off

Spinosaurus was a fish eater and also preyed on small dinosaurs. In a theoretical fight with a T-Rex, the Spinosaurus would be likely to loose as it has small hollow teeth and a long neck, where as the T-Rex has extremely powerful jaw muscles and very long sharp teeth. Spinosaurus avoided large predators.

If the t rex was not intimidated by spino's sail, the spinosaurus could kill it by giving it a smack across the face, then later the t rex could die of infection or bleeding. Spino was also like 60 feet long, 18 feet longer then the biggest t rex. Either way i love them both.
