I like the scrapbook option, but otherwise this is too cumbersome to use. The number of functions associated with the program nullifies its goal of being convenient.
Nice video, well produced. But my Palm T|X does probably 80% of what Scrybe does. Why would I want yet another software which probably doesn't sync with Eudora or Palm? Some people just do not want to use Outlook! Please respond.
Featured in the NYT! This looks great! I really like the printability of the information for day-to-day needs. Very well done, very GTD. It appears to have what people are looking for. Good luck! If you're giving out invites, I'd love to have one!
I'd have to disagree with the blackberry comment. When you have access to a computer, you want a nice gui that you can manipulate with more than just two thumbs.
I am looking at making a similar type of film. What software did you use? I am mainly having problems with zooming in and out of a screen capture video.
* Most of these tools seem pretty pointless to me. It's nothing that hasn't already been done before.
* I couldn't understand half the stuff this curry muncher was saying. I don't believe he lives in Miami... I think someone's just recorded a telemarketer trying to sell some shit.
I signed up for the beta, but will not use the product until I find out if it can sync with other tools, like outlook so I can get the info onto my PDA.
I also want to make a company public calendar and I hope your tool can make this happen.
Wow! When? This is just beautiful! I showed this to five people and they all want it, too. We're looking forward to seeing how the collaboration and Palm syncing work. Your work makes my gCal look like it was built by children. Best of luck to you.
1) be able to either sync with Outlook calendar, or provide a means of scheduling meetings with collegues and friends that use Outlook, or at least provide group-functionality on its own, and
2) Work for non-english users, providing a means for inputting weekdays in local language and times in the 24-hour system.
Other things worse (GV has a nice feature to put "feeds" of information to specific dates...the one default example is weather forcast built in..but, for instance, a cinema could put one up for film releases)
Google has a unfair advantage with email intergration, of course. ("Add event to calander")
being a mac user i've grown accustomed to sync and organization apps for sometime now, but i'm curious to see how this app works within the mac envrionment - looks very cool thanks for sharing :)
LOL! In reality, the best people to run such a company or manage the technical side, often make poor spokesmen. Hire a pro or use the receptionist, imho.
Can't wait to see it, this looks absolutely brilliant.
I don't care about Outlook (there are some Microsoft apps that just suck) but using this on portable Firefox with the ability to print will be superb.
Brilliant.
This software delivers.
Smarter folks behind this product have thought through how many do things.
Now, if only they'd work with a pop up to capture data without forcing the user to have the calendar open.
All too often a person finds himself or herself with a thought -- "call the fish market, before the week's up".
That needs to get translated into data placed into a calendar, a first action item on subsequent days.

Does Scrybe permit one to import one's contact list from another program -- say Outlook Express?
Can it sync with a palm or with a blackberry?

Once synching with outlook is sorted, this will be absolutely huge - always assuming it's not priced through the roof.
I hope you can cope with the demand :0)

Looks very simerla in design to Google Calender.
Some things better (sycning, scaleing,timezones)

Where is the Outlook sync?
pinatahead 5 years ago
In our first version you can import and export ical files. You can also import and export outlook csv files.
Current Outlook lacks ical syncing capability. Microsoft is fixing that in it's January release. Then you will be able to sync to Outlook as well.
Sharing ,collaboration and syncing will be discussed in more detail in the next video
