I think in this case, the video quality is not what makes the clip so great - we were all carrying around video cameras the size of a briefcase in those days, and the picture wasn't always so great. :)

It's the beautiful music, and the fact that it's a moment in time that will never be repeated. I say put them up!

Thanks again for sharing. When watched the first clip, it made me cry a little. I had forgotten how much joy there was in the music that Uncle Jimmy and his friends played.

I'm delighted to do it! We all loved Jim and what a wonderful trombone player he was. We miss him. I have several more tunes from that evening; but have hesitated to put them on YouTube because I was just starting taping and didn't do a very good job; but maybe I'll try to find another clip that would be okay.
