a 50-50 political share with t/c's will never be accepted by us, you should know this by the previous referundum. if someone doesn't like his country and it's resolutions he is free to move somewhere else, and not create a separete illegal entity in the country

To be completely honest with you, I cannot tell the difference between a Greek or Turkish Cypriot. They look exactly the same and they also act the same. They are IMO genetically identical. They are closer in relation than they are to their respective motherlands, from what I can tell.

its only greeks who hope of this...i cant believe that many of us really believe that peace and harmony would work living side by side with turks. And im really sorry for this...but it upsets me seeing those greeks fighting for this brotherhood and the turks are laughing at us.They are all united in one thing...being turkish and turkish pride drives them.

exactly, that's the question that I always ask myself, how can it be any type of changes in Cyprus unless your completely change the negative mentality of some people.
Comments such as throw out the turks, turks mongols etc etc do not exactly help the process of integration.
Coexistence and Peace must be the only real doctrine for Cyprus, they must become an example for the rest of the World.

Lebaneses are a mix of phoenicians, greeks, latins, franks,arabs,ottomans etc etc and so are syrians and palestinians..would you be able to spot the physical differences between an italian, portuguese,greek, turk or lebanese ? I think not.
There are many greeks that if you did not know they were greek you would probably think they come from North Africa Maghreb.

the Phoenicians were semetic just like the arabs, all the Lebanese people i met looked Arabic or semetic. They are many physical differences between arabs and Southern Europeans, they are two different groups. And yes i can tell the difference between an Arab and an Italian. I am Greek and noone thinks i am Arab everything thinks i am from Southern Europe. We have different features, some of us can look alike, but for the most part Arabs dont look like Southern Europeans and vice versa.

The Greek girl you see in the picture is a Greek Cypriot, not a Greek girl who is from Greece. Greek Cypriots in their hearts are Hellenes and they share alot of the same genes as Greeks from the Greece, but they are not completely the same. Greek Cypriots have more of a semitic base, as do some other Greeks from areas of Greece proper like Rhodes and areas of Crete. But in the end, it is what is in the heart that really matters. You might like a vid called "The Greek DNA" here on youtube.

i never said we were descendants of Vikings and i dont understand why would you ever think sucha thing. And we are not Semetics, we never were, science has proven that, the US magazine of Human Genetics just recently published an article about the Greek DNA.

the north region of Cyprus is occupied by turks. since 1974 There have been over 140,000 turkish settlers and 40,000 turkish soldiers moved in in violation of international law and the Geneva convention. Violation of this provision of the geneva convention is considered a war crime! This occupied land is not recognized by any country other than turkey (the people who invaded the island). Join the fight to remove Turkish settlers and Turkish troops from Cyprus.
