@TheBrownMan2112 Try to keep it relax as possible, that's the key. Play some slow blast beat songs and try to concentrate to see how you are playing and how your limbs are moving. If it hurts, try to change something!

Very...very impressive. nearly mastered. Little note, during the main riff, when he is doing the constant double bass then double is up he doesn't use the toms he doubles it up on the bass drums. i:e 0:22 that should be done on the double bass pedal and not the tom. he does it live sometimes but in the studio it was written on the pedal. Something to make it more challenging. Nick Barkers style is the ultimate challenge. If you can master him, you can so anything

@kalloused Well i disagree. I don't see any reason why Nick plays that totally different in live than studio. And the sound is so clean and triggered in the album so you can easily hear that he uses toms for that part. Tom's sound is way different than the bass drum.

@Norgothor I asked Nick Barker himself when I met him when he was still with Dimmu when they came to Salt Lake. I had this same argument with a friend. In the studio he played it on the bass drum and he said he mixes up some of his playing live due to comfort. He said when it's not as easy to play every technicality when your setup differently on the road as opposed to the studio or at home.

@perrostupido this might take me 2 comments to fully explain, but here it goes. with cheater blasts your feet are usually synced up with your snare, where as with single bass blasts like how he's actually playing it, your bass is leading by hitting on the downbeat and your snare is actually on the upbeat. thats why they usually turn the volume way up on the bass for single blasts so you can hear it as on time, instead of hearing the snare on the up beat and sounding off time. i don;t know if

@PukingUpEntrails My opinion is that you can get a lot of more power to the bass drum if you play two feet blast, especially if you play on acoustic kit you won't need any triggers...and it's technically more challenging. The only hard part in one foot blasts is to keep your foot able to play fast and steady, but it feels unnecessary because you have two bassdrums...am i right?

@PukingUpEntrails In one foot blasts you only have to use three limbs, four limbs in two foot blasts. The more limbs, the more you need to concentrate to control them all. I think that's more challenging. As i said before, one foot blast need only more practice for endurance. My style is to try play relaxed and use all the energy usefully.
