Uncharted 3 still seems to have some improvements but gear of war 3, assasin creed brotherhood and revelations, mass effect 3, they are ALL like their predecessors.
BF3 is one of the best looking game so far, but it runs well and looks miles better than the console version. There are examples of games that look slightly better and run like shit and also examples of good ports.
Crysis for example a 2007 game is the most graphicaly impressive game and you can run it on highest settings on a 8800GTX and a dualcore 2.6cpu.

Rage does this, everything that is behind you is blurred. When you look around it renders it. SADLY thats designed for consoles, on pc, textures take a lot of time to load because its not the same hardware. Also there is a specific distance that textures have fidelity, if you go far, they get blurry, which you CANT see on a console but when you play infront of the screen on a pc... it sucks.

You have not played mw3 on a pc. Mw3 on a pc has full dynamic lights, miles better than the lighting in mw2, better textures, far superior geometry on weapons and character and SSA0 what holds back cod is consoles, same reason rage achieved 60 fps by being a steaming nightmare.

@au25 U2 is looking better than MW2. Ugly game engine is just ugly game engine no matter how far you go in resolution and AA. First thing to notice textures , MW2 textures are just flat. Pause this video for example at 3:24 and look at the textures. Everything in mw2 looks rough and flat. Buildings are looking like boxes with windows and some texture work. Particle effects are better in U2, lighting and amount of detail put in game overall.

You have not played mw3 on a pc. Mw3 on a pc has full dynamic lights, miles better than the lighting in mw2, better textures, far superior geometry on weapons and character and SSA0 what holds back cod is consoles, same reason rage achieved 60 fps by being a steaming nightmare.

@au25 U2 is looking better than MW2. Ugly game engine is just ugly game engine no matter how far you go in resolution and AA. First thing to notice textures , MW2 textures are just flat. Pause this video for example at 3:24 and look at the textures. Everything in mw2 looks rough and flat. Buildings are looking like boxes with windows and some texture work. Particle effects are better in U2, lighting and amount of detail put in game overall.

@TheUmbrellaCorpX I played it, textures are inferior than mw2 and lighting is as good as the lighting in assasin creed or unreal engine 3 prior to gear of war 3. Even batman arkham city has better lighting.

Console games are easilly fooled by weak visuals like that and think they are graphics kings but dont play games on pc to se how superior they look. Infact the sole reason that they think you need thousands of dollars for a decent pc is what fools them. You dont need more than 700 bucks to get everything with far superior visuals than consoles
So yeah, keep believing that this^ is graphics king. In my old 400 bucks pc, EVEN mw2 looks better. But you wouldnt know that since you dont play on pc.

Also you did not just say thar uncharted 2 has better animation and blending. Cod have been awarded several times for their animation. As for blending? You must be blind because you can see how shitty it is in this video. i played mw2 in 1920x1080 in 60 fps when uncharted 2 runs 1280x 720 and 30 fps.
