Why is there a pic of the engine upper end? Do you need to take off the valve covers to change the power steering fluid? Help, so confused! (just kidding) :P
leave the guy alone. he is trying to concentrate on his subject to help you with your fkng steering wheels. looking at the camera all the time makes u forget things. thank you man. I am glad I watched what I needed for my car.
The internal combustion engine is horrible. Oil doesn't even get to where it needs to get causing wear and tear on the engine. At 150,000 miles, basically its ready to fail.
@jamasi5 I guess it is so that you can turn the steering wheel freely. Otherwise with your wheels on the floor, turning the steering wheel from end to end will cause your tyres to grind the floor surface when the car is not moving. But you are right. We need to be careful with a running engine when the front of the car is jacked up.
It is easy to think when you close you eyes, you start remembering what you want to say so there's nothing wrong with this. Um is in the dictionary so it is a word and nothing wrong with that either.......
I drive a 95 Nissan Quest. The owers manual says to use a ATF type F to refill my power-steering fluid. The problem is there are lots of Type F brands out there. Does it really matter what brand I use as long as it says Type F??.
wow. do NOT listen to this guy. That is NOT how you flush power steering fluid. The proper way to do it, is to get a helper, disconnect the return hose from the resivoir, and start the vehicle. Have the helper pour in new fluid as fast as it comes out the return hose. Once new fluid starts coming out the return hose, thats it, its flushed. shut the vehicle off, put the hose back on, top off the fluid and your done.
Hey, I don't know a lot about cars and I'm learning how to do all the basics. Can somebody here tell me if the procedure in this video is legit? On other power steering fluid videos everyone writes about how the mechanic does a really bad job or does something that will eventually cause damage (like putting ATF in the power steering or something). Thanks! Any help is much appreciated!
@AyCorundum the process the mechanic describes is fine, you just have to make sure that you use the correct power steering fluid for your car. Check the owners manual for this information. Some vehicles do use ATF for power steering fluid, others like Honda require power steering fluid made by the manufacture.

Can you just pour more into the exsistjng low fluid?
mikedelgado8888 1 month ago
@mikedelgado8888 It shouldn't be low. If it is, then you have a leak. fix the leak and then put more in
heroes91092 1 month ago
@heroes91092 so i checked again and it isn't low.
