American Airlines Possible 787 Paint?

Ugly, not to mention, the comps aren't even a drawing for the 787; looks like an A330 to me...

Original livery is the best. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.........

The simple, original livery is elegant and effective. Recognized throughout the World. Why change now?

They have paint that looks just like chrome so they may just use that.

The one with the paint scheme, white top and red stripe and blue underside looks very much like the flag color and pattern of the Russian flag, so, I wouldn't opt for that one since it can get confused for a Russian airliner (even though it would say "American") - and American Airlines does fly to Russia... It would be just good to stay with the original paint scheme of American with subtle change.

@fablehottie in my opinion, if there was a way to convert the current scheme onto the 787, i would. i like the current paint. it looks beautiful.

I think they should keep their color scheme but the silver color can be an illusion to those outside the Boeing 787
