@TheSteAshh It is for those who have spent their time farming the first one and would rather not spend time farming 6 of the Traps.. so ya take the time to just farm one and bam! now you can make 2 ultimate weapons and use the third one dismantling to give ya 3 more...

@yiprajosie085 the huge turtle @ Levianthan Plaza - Eden drops them, but it's a ultra rare drop, so be patience and look for guides on the internet/ youtube. Good luck!

Oh, and a question: if you keep doing this after you've made all the ult weapons you need, do you wind up earning enough off the traps & other dismantle goodies to offset your outlay in materials / equipment? Ie., can you do this for profit as a way of gil farming?

@fsewgrew if youve done the mission 63 you can go back and re do it, but dont kill the mark just yet, for some reason the percentages in drops go up, when that mission is active and in that area, so try killing one of the Adamantorise forgive my spelling not the mark and theres a good chance you get one, I got one on my 1st try I hope this helps, been grinding for hours, and ran across a blog that told me this and it worked like a charm

@fsewgrew If you havent done mission 63 activate it but dont kill the mark of the mission, just hunt the other Admamantortise in the area, the percentage drops still go up and theres a better chance of getting the Trap as well, I hope this helps, I take no credit for the info, just spreading the word to my felllow FF 13 players much love

@fsewgrew Ok Man, I just tested this out and so far in 6 tries ive got 2 traps so I like those percentages so far, so I believe im right so far having mission 63 active complete or not as long as its active the drops have defintely been more frequent

@fsewgrew oh I forgot to say, I had on the connisieurs catalog as well, and the Genji Glove on Vanille doing the the death method,, I dont care what anyone says strategy is not about doing things the hard way ,its about whats most efficient, feel me ;-) Hope you get your Traps

@jeanetteFF13FREAK ok, first vanille (SAB) as leader, then begin of the battle let a synergist haste vanille, then summon her eidolon, then debuff admantortoise, then all i can say is death. Ow btw if u want to raise your death succesrate use 3 SAB in your team and use an item ( i 4got the name, its something like Catalog) to raise the drop rate. Last u need some luck. succes

So you give away one Trapezohedron to get 3 of them back? That's pretty impressive, especially considering the extreme slim chances of achieving them from the Adamantoises and Gui's. Yeah, and I made that quick calculation of the 36 Blossom seeds x 216k = 7,770,000 something!! Whoa!

I do not like giving away the Kain's Lance, but considering the smaller and less expensive items that make the Lance upgrade a lot faster, I think this is definitely worth it. I think I will try your technique!

If you can beat the tonberry's in the faultwarrens, the 3 of em, (can be done easily if you wait and get a pre-emptive) you get a tonberry doll and that can be sold for a good amount of gil, think you get three every fight
