I had surgery on mine last wed, I had on and off pain for about a week and a half, The last day of that week and a half was the WORST. It was hard to breathe, the nausea was horrible, and really back back/abdomen pain. Lucky enough It was able to be fixed. Just go to the ER and get checked out if you have this pain, it's no joke. Don't bother with your doctor because they will just send you to the ER either way. And the pain after the surger(very uncomfortable) is worth saving your testical!
I was getting into bed yesterday night it has been about 24 hours from now but I got a pain in my left testicle and the pain has been coming and going since then it's not a severe pain but I don't want it there , my testicle does not seem to be swollen do you think that I could have just hit it off my leg and that is my pain or is it testicular torsion , what do you think please reply thanks
I got a sonogram done and they hadn't found anything wrong. The urologist claimed that I had a small cyst but that was completely normal. Pain gets worse with activity such as leaning or bending over, going down the stairs, pulling or shaking of my stick to get rid of excess urine. In addition, pain seems to get worse after sitting for 15 minutes or more. In school it's a prob It's been a month already. Please give me some suggestions of what you think is going on. I'm worried and scared thanks.

so I think I might have had my left testicle twisted just 20 min. ago, I managed to twist it back, then I got really bad pain in the chord and almost passed out, but as I checked it, it definitively had like a pulse because the testicle was moving up and down... anyway is there an emergency???!!

@lawmed1 i have to take an ultra sound in about 2 weeks from the surgery day to see if the testicle is still there or not there, apparently they did a new procedure and it has a 50/50 chance.

@lawmed1 I think i might have this problem. In one of my testical (my right one) i feel a slight discomfort i would'nt say its extreamly painfull but i do sometimes get pain in it when i go jogging or exersice.
Also this might sound weird but i get the feeling that my left testical is more "active" then the right one, meaning that i dont really get that "tingly" feeling that i get in my left one.
Please help because i am really worried that this might make sterile.

Upon further research i dont think i have testicular torsion becaus I read that you only have 48 hours to get operated before your testical dies out completely and if been having this proablem for a couple of months now. I feel slightly relieved

He's exactly right.. If you sort of pain, don't sit down typing and stuff, rush to the hospital, cause it takes hours before it dies! i had testicular tortion and it started with sever pains just above my testicle considered stomach pains when i told the hospital he asked but never checked my testicles which u are supposed to do and he was a dick head about it. then i had left it for 3 days i couldn't walk well walked in a hunch backed over limping but it didn't hurt when i was walking like that so i left it then i told my parents and they left it for the 3rd day and then we an immediate surgery i'm very pain resistant.

@fis3one YES! I experienced this yesterday morning. It was horrible. Many times i felt like i needed to vomit because of the pain i experienced. The pain feels like someone is standing on your testicle and it is extremly painful!! 911 is the best route to get to a hospital because I chose to drove and i was almost blinded by the pain.

ohk. Im 16 , my doctor said i have epydidymitis , so i was given anti -biotics for this . It seemed ohk i was not experiencing any pain for almost a week . But today after i took a number 2 , my balls hurt for 5 minutes , then the pain went away. Is Torsion continual pain or not?

@CrossCheckCharlton yes it does cause stomache and back pain, i've just had the untwisting surgery and i tell u if u dont do it fast u will have ur testy removed like the guy before me, mine was blue and thanks god that i survived

I sat in a hospital for 11 hours takeing all kinds of xrays and different tests only to find out that I had a testicular tortion. And I had to lose my left testicle

What is the likelyhood that a recurrence will occur, I'm 16 and had a torsion months ago, it was dreadful, i'm so scared though i don't want a recurrance, i hate the orchiopexy please respond to my message, it was surgically attended to and I need medically opinion.

@Singrochester Yes but thing is we just moved overseas, so that is not possible, but months ago they ultrasounded me etc and said i'm fine now, i had a hematoma, it drained out thankfully but still, may I ask is a recurrance all that likely, i'm doubting it, but yeah precarious here..THANKS

@Singrochester well ive had it when i was 15 and im seventeen now and i have the same thing again and goign to hospital first thing tommorow :( so unfortunatly a reocurrance is likely even though the doctors said it wont come back but it has and im in so much pain right now :( hope this helped

ohk. Im 16 , my doctor said i have epydidymitis , so i was given anti -biotics for this . It seemed ohk i was not experiencing any pain for almost a week . But today after i took a number 2 , my balls hurt for 5 minutes , then the pain went away. Is Torsion continual pain or not?

Hey I got a question, on Febuary this year, I had Testicular Torsion and the left side of my testicle was removed do to a failure/lack of knoledge of it, is it possible that I might have a relapse with my other one?
