The only person who really had a reason to complain was Sam because he's allergic to seafood. Or at least, he was the only one who actually got sick from eating it.
does it really matter what food they chose? I know seafood is healthier but they're all in the same boat. Seafood = they all get an advantage. Red meat = they all get a disadvantage.
I'm probably just being dense, but it's late, forgive me :[
i think at this early stage in the game, red meat would probably do them more justice. its more of a transitional step from the foods that they are used to and they'd receive more energy to work out with resulting in big weight loss week one and even bigger in week two when they begin a more calorie controlled diet.
I dunno, in this case I think JJ is right even if he's a little tactless. "Ew, fish is icky!" is the sort of attitude that I generally hear from first graders who refuse to eat anything but peanut butter or chicken nuggets.
Why not try something healthier for a week, seeing as how you are on a weight-loss show? In other words, suck it up. This whole thing is about breaking habits and trying new things that can make you healthier. You'll probably like it more than you think you will.
Okay, this has been said before... about the muscle, you DO NOT gain enough amount of muscle to affect the weigh-ins. Building muscle however is absolutely necessary in order to loose weight in a healthy way, it is vital for increased metabolism and helps to burn calories. You can't not build muscle, that will destroy your body.
@morelocd JJ is a contestant. I think you mean AJ. And she has already lost well over 60 kg outside of the show, which is why she was chosen as the host.
@kiquorice You're right... I meant AJ. Yes, I found out later that she did that. Very good. Anyway, she was starting to put on weight, but during Biggest Loser Aus 4, she loses 11kg and looks much better :)
i'm called Michelle, and Jillian saying "Michelle, I really love you buddy....(long pause)...but i'm going to CRUSH you" xD"! i could really feel it lol
I just realized that this season is the first one where they didn't allow the contestants to gorge on fatty foods before they begin. Thank God for that.
JJ will be gone the first chance they get to vote him off. Rachel is going to be a problem, too. During the initial weigh in, she told one girl, "Good luck, you're gonna need it." That rubbed me the wrong way because it didn't come across as support, but as snide.
Cosi is so right. If her point was "what can they eat instead" why didn't she said, "What are the alternatives for those that don't really like fish???"
JJ is hilarious! but seriously the girls overreacted- after all its majority rules. Seafood is a much healthier choice, which is what its about, quit whinging like children and just eat it!
That's not what it's about. I think they wanted to make the point that they were making a sacrifice, to get something r(respect?) back for their sacrifice.
@Azith10 It's entirely possible. I know several vegetarians who rival these folks. Vegetarians aren't inherently healthier or lighter than non-vegetarians just based on a non-meat diet. The reason why they *tend* to be lighter is that they are, by virtue of limiting a portion of their diet from the "standard," more apt to be aware of what they are eating. If you have to read labels for content, you're more likely to know the calories too.
well, at least charm them enought that they wouldnt vote him off the first second they can! Besides that it isn't only the women on the show that is going to see what a pig he is but millions of people watching!
I feel for JJ. I know for myself I can't take someone seriously who talks with a lisp and has marbles in his mouth. Tuff life he has to have led to make him such an ASS. How many women have laughed in his face I wonder?
@candycane1213 I know lots of adults who say "too bad, so sad." (although I've never heard "too bad, too sad"). Perhaps it's just a contextual or cultural thing but it doesn't sound immature to me...
I don't think they understand that fish IS meat. But any way, if i were in that situation, i wouldn't care whats everyone picked, I'd stick to my veggies, fruits, beans, nuts, and seeds. Fuck meat!
Youtube playing up as ever *slaps yt* it's uploaded but not processing, I'll leave it another hour or so and if it hasn't sorted itself will try uploading again.

these trainers should have these people just lose weight first and then work on muscle
ok first muscle weighs more than fat so there acctually making these people gain weight
second, the muscles really wont even appear and they wont even be burning anything or getting any muscles till they burn off all that fat first
...you would think that professional trainers would know that -__-
