It brings tears to my eyes knowing that Clive Davis did this. She told him she was done with music and was ready to retire and he insisted that she couldn't because people still want to hear her. So he personally brought her slowly back into the spotlight and gave her all the encouragement in the world. She will have a huge selling CD in September and she will finally return to the Grammys. Clive did this and we all owe him our love and respect. He saved her dignity as an artist and her career.

I fully understand why it is taking her next album so long to release. It's because whitney is a massive asset of arista records. She is the biggest star of the label and she is one of the biggest top 5 singers in the world. It is critical that this album gets fine tuned with songs that will bring her back on top. And clive davis will see to it that it does! Clive is her sole assurance that she will make her biggest comeback ever! Can't wait for her return!

I agree. Before she got back with Clive, she was putting out albums with only 1 or 2 hits. Clive said earlier this year, the whole album needs to flow and be one big hit. When the collection of songs make a hit album, then he will announce a release date!
