Its an 02 model...some dobro player baught it....didn't play it and traded it for a gibson dobro...has keith d-tuners...dude I swear its never had so much as a finger print on it....I couldn't believe how new it looks. Ive seen that exact banjer u have on janet davis...janet has a ton of stuff on her site..and some pretty good deals too
oh yea my dad has always wanted a good guitar...all his life,bought one few weeks before christman,went and got a Martin D-28..One word...WOW! hahaha!!

I like That bass soud..and the agian I like that raised head sound too!

It really depends on the banjo and the picker..
I set mine up the way I Think it sounds good...
My parents got it for me a year and some odd months ago,,.
They ordered it from Janet Davis Music out in Arizonia.
It was supposed to be $3,000 but she cut us a deal, $2,500...she give it to us because I'm younger...

Man,don't get me started on books..I can read tabs..but I'd rather learn it numorous ways ,then combined them together plus some licks...
I just don't really like books,I wanna play like me not Ralph or Earl..ext.
But don't get me wrong I like to learn it like Ralph and so on....
