  • It may be revenue for the government, but it means that the rest of us have to pay higher taxes because of people like this. They're happy to avoid paying tax but no doubt they'll expect the NHS to pay up when they're being treated for lung cancer or heart disease.

  • Thats what puts small business out of business...come on its not like he will never spend money in his own country again....pffffff

  • the custom lady is hot

  • customs dont have any power ther not cops , dont let them stop you just keep walking .. you can buy as many as you like insife the EU dont tell them any thing

  • shes a hottie ...

  • This man in my opinion is right, that's so fucking stupid, the phone is on the wrong side! you're to busy trying to get your luggage and then it's human nature to just walk through. Really these UKBA are fucking mugs, why not put a big sign saying "Declare Good Here?" the government purse is now dry. This is an excuse to get their dirty hands on anything. Money, cigs whatever.

  • nice girl. The blondy girls is as so pretty as polite. She was very nice and tried very well that costumer

  • He is right , you cannot read a column in a crowed baggage claim area.

a very common usual Inmigration entrapment case

  • are cigarettes illegal?... you couldnt do this to an american there would be a fist fight

  • @ajgolfer1 you can only bring 200, thats one carton. and americans are babied by almost every country. its ridiculous. and if there were a fist fight there would also be DEPORTATION (:

  • good god!! Smugglers hardly! My folks smoke thisa in a few months. This is harassment of regular people. This isn't risking anyone's safety!

  • very dodgy british customs ...who do not have proper Notice board.

  • @ 1:19 she says he has in the region of 4000 cigarettes then @2:05 she says 5000.Make your mind up woman

  • @TheAlienFan the first one was an estimate, the second was after she had counted them

  • @CorBlimey2 Ah,you're right.On reading that back I know what you mean.Thanks : )

  • He is also right in a sense that instructions should be displayed on big boards. But they didn't show it nicely, looks like that the customs has put a trap there.

  • her boyfriend/husband/sugar daddy probably fucks the shit out of her every day

  • any1 kno wats the best way to sneak weed past airports?

  • @policekiller305 yea...smoke it long before you get there!!!

  • i love blondes in uniform

  • so, what is the exact amount of cigarettes that are allowed to bring in?? a caton??

  • poor cigarettes...they wont be smoked :(

  • What a babe... Would like to be body-searched by her...

  • Canada is same way,,, they hate it if you bring alcohol or tobacco from from another country.. thank God i don't drink or smoke

  • i would of ran like fuck, once out of that airport they cant do feck all,and its not a far dash from that customs officer either

  • This guy has a perfectly blatently valid point.

  • @noordwinter THE IDIOT MAN THINKS HE CAN DOUBLE TALK HIS WAY OUT OF IT

  • They were given incorrect information in Turkey. Yeah......sure.....pull the other one. these two are so desperate to appear innocent that they just make themselves look more guilty. they know only too well what they've done - I mean...4000 cigarettes?

    C'MON.........

    Stupid fat mother

  • @darepow

i would argue with that blonde and hope

she would want to inspect my bottom lol

fat fooker who goes on holiday with his mum.

the blonde is not very good at dealing with people either lol

  • @noordwinter 100% right m8. If the Government were so damn concerned about small businesses going bust they'd control more the tactics of supermarkets, esp Tesco with their overwhelming financial advantages, assisted by bent local planning officers allowing site grabbing and other cute practices

  • The blonde customs officer, Ann has gone mad with the sunbed and peroxide,,,but i still would....u get me!!

Look mate, u got caught re-handed....just take it!! Man, she's got a nice butt! Phoaarrr!

  • Typical shitty britain, the gov using customs to ensure it gets every PENNY out of the populace. If he came from an EU country he could have brought back as much as he wants for personal consumption, but as he came from Turkey which is not a member they rob him of his cigarettes in the fear they might lose some of the 98% tax they put of cigarettes in rip off Britain. In Estonia 20 class A cigarettes costs less than 70p in the UK the same paket will cost you £6.80.I fucking hate living in the UK.

  • Bollox. 5k's of fags is a piss take, anyone with a brain knows the the allowances. Serve them right, Building work or not, taking the piss is taking the piss. Typical Bristolians.

  • I was a customs officer for a few years and I for one think that engaging in a debate and arguing like this officer did witht the man is totally unprofessional. This guy knew exactly what he was doing. I would simply have said that the cigarettes are hereby siezed by customs because of falure to declare the excess amount and then point out to him the legal avenues which are available to him if he wishes to challenge this decision. Simple, clean, honest and gets me back to work sooner.

  • @arngrimur2 Yes I felt that too... why engage in all the dialogue! Ignorance of the law was never acceptable as an excuse, therefore no need for any discussion. Made both sides in the equation look stupid.

  • Total chavs..............

  • Its not about safety. Its that their not paying TAX on the cigarettes. They want your money, and they'll get it.

  • @andrewpyrah and they will use the law to ensure they can bleed your wallet dry of every penny at every opportunity.

  • they should spend a few quid and make it way clearer as to the procedure- shody british justice

  • I dont drink or smoke but yet i get my bags ripped apart when i come back.

  • Personally I thought that was a setup, the ‘To Declare’ post was hard to see and from the guys angle, near impossible. If the customs officers were really concerned there would have been better postings or Customer officers directing and helping people during construction…appalling service from customs

  • he and his mom should have swollow those cigarettes!

  • we need diplomatic passports are become members in the labour party govt, then we can spend tax money and do all we like,

  • Karletto, this will only happen when u become the chief of bristol airport

  • trust me, if these goes to court his going to win! A post for nothing to declare! Come on!

  • what a bunch of cunts LOL but bristol airport is very good or so i heard how many flights does it take?

  • Why ? is it not enough that pot is illegal ?

  • LOL CONSTUCTION!!! There is no visible sign.

  • What the fuck was this guy thinking?? Of course the goverment wants there cut, did he think that free euro healthcare was really free?

  • Can't you just take sigarettes with you ??:S

  • a good reason not to smoke cigarettes.

  • What did the old bag said? "They should be salted out""

  • This is bullshit. Customs fucked up, he should be allowed to pay duty

  • i will put some rosmarin in my arse just to be strip searched from that hot blonde ^^

  • Hang him! the blokes a real knob.

  • Shame. would have cut back on the govs wmd budget.

  • He would have a case if it was in US since there's no clear sign and we in the US tend to be retards when it comes to this kinda situations..

  • at least the agent seems honest when she says that she's not the one making the rules...

  • going there tomorrow :)

  • i agree with the bloke. he said its all about money for the government: that is true. it is also true that it aint displayed very well. its silly how they spend ages trying to stop things like this when there are 'bigger fish to fry'

  • Trust me man these people know exactly what they are doin. Even if you install a huge sign that would do any change. Those are smugglers THAT S ALL.

  • While I do think this guy is trying to avoid paying customs excise/duty on the cigs, his argument seems valid. It's almost as if they WANT you to slip up. The "goods to declare" point is poorly marked, and out of line with the usual convention. It would be very easy for the ordinary reasonable traveller to make the same mistake.

  • IGNORATIA IURAS NON EXCUSAT

  • Maybe not. But how many travellers set out with the intention to deceive Customs, and how many do so unintentionally because of the poor construction/layout and signage?

However I do see your point. 5000 cigs is a bit provocative, and it's hard to believe that he didn't know about his obligation to declare.

  • @horka4 ignorance is no excuse?

  • @Brinah No it s : ignoration of the laws is not an excuse. That is the correct translation from the latin I mentioned.

  • @sjhodson1982 Naaah... If I was planning to declare my items to the customs, I wouldn't follow the big sign that said "NOTHING to declare". That doesn't make sense to me... I would look around or ask an officer.
