To all posters saying that it's about the WWII Holocaust, this is an incorrect assumption. What Crosby meant when he said 'the holocaust' at Woodstock when introducing the song, he was referring to an apocalyptic nuclear holocaust, not genocide. Listen to the lyrics again and you'll get it.
Hey! This is really good ! The guitar work is right on and the vocals are perfect! The guitar work is really exceptional. Sounds like the original recording. Well done!
@Orion579 Thanks, but this was not my band and was done a few years ago. It was a band put together for a Rockademy Show (School of Rock ) If you seen my other videos you'll see I perform solo and no long in the Rockademy.
Being 55 yrs old, seeing a group of 20 yr olds playing a song that came out some 25yrs b4 you were born, puts a smile on my face. Confirms my belief that rock n' evolves, it doesn't change.
On another note, the song was 15 yrs old b4 I found out that it was about the Holocaust during WWII
Thanks, the kids playing ages are 14 - 17 at the time of this show. I'm 51 and I agree, we had the best music and I love it when the younger generation plays it.
Instrumentals respectable! First round of vocals leading up to the refrain good. Kind of downhill from there. Just that you guys covered this song is great. "A" for effort!
Horrible quire girls .... the music is ok, but there is not enough spirit behind the vocals... Again, it is a hard tune to cover, you did ok, but i didn't get the "WOW" feeling(not at all).
Good to see some you guys like you playing music like this :)
your work "hear" is great .....thanks....keep on driven forward and f the nay sayers here.......the only losser are those that aren`t driven and you guy rock.........

Great effort and I liked the garage band sound.
It wasn't bad. A little rough at times but you put yourselves out there and did it.
With more practice together you can get better execution and timing.

Grade A for effort.
With a better sound check and more practice you guys could really have this down to put on your set.
It really makes me happy to see people so young into one of the CSN songs most people disregarded. Keep on keeping that spirit alive.
