I'm a huge Dr. Who fan but this it probably my least favorite opening, probably cause I think it should be accompanied by an announcer saying "Meanwhile at the Hall of Justice"
Several. "The Two Doctors", "Vengeance on Varos", "Revelation of the Daleks", "Attack of the Cybermen" etc. Be quick. The BBC purge Youtube every so often.
I'll bet this is a stupid question, but being a USA fan of doctor who with not many connections except a few of my Dads old tapes (he was a huge Doctor Who fan) and the newest season on american TV (I had never seen any Doctor other then, Tom Baker, the white haired guy before him, the Doctor in the FOX movie piolet episode, and the 2 newest seasons Doctors) was Colin Baker related to Tom Baker?
Shame that you use the word 'Classic' to label the theme tunes that were anything but the original. Glad that they decided to use Delia Derbyshires theme within the Murray Gold version since the series returned rather than the versions from the 1980s.
Theres a colin episode which i watched on youtube called the twin dillema search for a youtube user called doctorwhoclassics

This was a perfectly good version. The only "bad" Dr Who theme I ever head was Sylvesters and even that was decent.
And it's nearly 30 years old. Of course it's a classic.
theredraven 3 years ago
I use the word classic as that's how the old series is referred to as opposed to the new series.
