I am going to add another one soon. I don't like the wall mount ones that much. These I can just take down and store in the basement when spring comes.
Good job 5*****, have you considered building a larger one to go on the rest of the house? maybe something that surface mounts on the wall, and doesn't block a window. I'm building one that is the size of patio doors.
Nice project , compact and functional. When you add a fan it stops being a passive solar heater and becomes a forced air solar heater and works a little better. A solar panel to power fan would be a nice green touch.
do you really need the fan since your panel is located indoors? and do you need a glass panel when you have it in the window?
